One of the most exciting talents we've seen in a long time. Not only is his finishing superb, he's got such a silky touch, a fantastic passing game & he's quick. Not often in Australian football when a player has "got it all". I think the sky's the limit for this lad. Every effort should be made to bring him into the next Olyroo's squad with his brother

I just hope Borussia Mönchengladbach don't sign him and put him in their reserve team like they do to all our other talents...

He's the best we've seen in a long time - clear after only a handful of appearances - but needs a full season in the AL.
If he scores 20 and sets up 15 by the end of next year we'll know he's the real deal.
Hopefully a new transfer system will come in before then to maximise value for all concerned.

Clinical and clean along with everything else. He must be on the radar at least.

+xOne full season needs to dominate then try go overseas 100%. At 17 he shouldn’t rush overseas move like too many others have 🙁 But yeah he looks a brilliant player

Ask yourself. Down by 1 vs anyone in an international with 15 left. Do you bring Maclaren on to be disappointed yet again? Arzani at the time created the chances particularly against Denmark.
As much as scouts make up their own mind, seeing that name in the June 23 would surely have some weight on their consideration.

It's not just the frequency of his goals, it's the way he takes them.
Incredible grace under pressure for one so young.
Still think his nickname should be Eastern Spotted...

He's at the worst age to go overseas. Too old to be absorbed into a youth system and too young/inexperienced to play for a first team in a good league. Needs to spend at least next season as a starter and be one of the top scorers in the league before he decides to move. That will also get him a much better set of options when he does decide to go. If his next season is just okay, then he needs to stay another year.

I’m going to play a slightly different tune for once.
He should stay in the A-League for the reasons maxxie said. Needs a season where he’s off the charts with goals and assists.
But, in the unlikely event that we qualify for the WC, one of Karang Kuol and Mohamed Touré (if not both) should be in the squad.
Spot on johnszasz about Daniel Arzani at the last WC. Say what you like about Arzani’s actual accomplishments at club level (or lack thereof), Australia looked utterly useless breaking through defensive lines before he came. Arzani is brought on for just a few minutes and suddenly we have a guy who is going past defenders. A guy who can sprint fast while retaining good close control of the ball. That’s 1 vs 1 ability.
If you don’t have at least one player out wide or up front with tiger characteristics, there are a lot fewer paths to goal. And a good defence will manage just fine.

You have given me the idea for a name for young Garang-the tiger kuol. Yep he needs a full season in the A-League and be among the top scorers. That means he will need to be a 90 minute player for a lot of games .He is very mature in his approach so far and not worried by pressure.

Here's Koul's bar - Viduka @18/19yrs 2seasons running for the Knights top scorer, twice player of the season x 1 title, 48 games for 40 goals. Some may say otherwise but that the kind of return you expect as long as he starts up games onwards and next season.

If he keeps scoring a goal every 30-odd minutes he'll thrash Dukes.
Seriously, let's see how he goes starting rather than exploiting tired defenders.
I do think he's pretty special though.

+xA tick under Alou and a tad more than Teng. Alou is an out & out striker, where's Garang could play CAM, RW or Striker - I reckon he'll end up being a far better player. Haven't seen Teng play, but people reckon he's the best out of the 3?!!! Surprised that he hasn't had a chance this season.

Having Nkololo, Cummings, Morseche, Urena and Kuol is a great strength of the Mariners. None of their attackers are similar but they all add something. TBH - I think Garang will eventually be seen as one of Australia's great talents.

I’m loving what Garang is providing.
Every appearance he has made SOMETHING has come from it and he’s made a huge impact. It doesn’t appear to be a flash in the pan either he’s backing it up in consecutive appearances which is brilliant to see.
Fingers crossed we see him for another season at CCM and he plays week in week out before a big transfer overseas.
CCM have a great front third at the back end of the season. Urena, Cummings, N’kolo and Kuol and all very dangerous and are the types of players you pay money to watch excite.

one of the best natural talents ive seen for years just hope he stays around for another year or two I think he could score 20 in a season easy.
Alou has said multiple times he thinks Garang is better than him. I think that says something. Just hope Egypt dont come for him.
