+xonly it works during winter is moving some games midweek and using smaller stadiums that are easily accessible. bingo for starters, the used large stadiums are ridiculous. You decide to launch your product in the safety of not competing against the bigger or popular 1 2 3 codes. No planB or C in case of set backs or curve balls, whats the concern of losing audience/gate takings ( in winter) for only so few get good support (MV likely lose's a good % who'll go to AFL) what about the other 50% in the program who's gate takings are bugger all, wouldn't cover their running weekend costs but getting their cut from ALM HQ. Its taken 20+ yrs for the MLS get some sort of following But they have farfar far more well off owners and population to draw on and used to Franchise/Conference systems and they still don't gain much respect in the football world. Looking ahead the ALM is going to struggle growing where they hope to be for as we know kids/adults have many other interests today and wherever they are can view online instead of attending games. The hardcore of support hidden below are the ones many mock, your dreaming and once the WC ends and old news it will be back to normal stations, sorry just how it goes here we've been there done that. The biggest bait is openning up that won't happen as we know. NSD is the future to pull more supporters in at that end BUT where is the ALM going to draw new supporter/s and how long will it take if its model is as it is. Look at the struggling ones right now and the Champ without a home ground. Seriously guys how would you look at it if this comp was presented to you to run manage and sell.
