Sadly, no surprises this week as Troyes, playing away, lost 3-1 to Marseille, the number two on the league standings/ladder.

I really hope Troyes stay up and Paddy stays on as coach!

Poor Paddy, I had bigger hopes for him. Hopr he gets  chance to "yo-yo" back up.
20% of the league faces the chop each year......  thats brutal

It's sad that people are wanting him to fail and enjoying it seems too, he's the only Aussie coach involved in the top 5 leagues and it's not every day we could another one in this position so overall it's not good for the reputation for Aussie coaches back home or overseas trying to move to European gigs (excluding Ange of course).

Anyone that does well it will open more doors, just like our players.

Haven't seen too many people saying they wanted Paddy Kisnorbo to fail at coaching in Ligue 1.

Hopefully he gets a chance for redemption. However it would be not surprising if he gets the sack. Tough gig to come into a top league after the season has started and then be expected to get get significant results. That being said, I can completely understand what the fans must be thinking. Moneybags CFG buys 100% of your club and then hires some no name Aussie inexperienced coach in a league that will see them face the likes of PSG.

I was thinking why Barca thinks that way.
Where do you get that info or is it just a gut feeling ?

When PK returned to Australia after a career in the lower English leagues, he was gonna sign for Victory but failed a medical.  He then signed for heart. He resented Victory for it and finished his playing career with a massive chip on his shoulder. Did some dirty shit in derbies.

So forgive me if I think he’s a bit of a flog. I’m sure many have similar views of Kev.

FWIW, I don’t necessarily want him to fail. But I do think Mombaerts set city up for success and PK had things handed to him on a platter. Things are clearly different in France and he’s struggling.

Not sure people it seems like people want him to fail...but more like 'who cares if he doesn't succeed'

Welcome to football, people generally don't like players from opposing clubs and vice versa, unless they come across as real good guys

ah ok, I'm on no SM so all I could judge is whats said on here over the years, don't think anything here was harsh but for now seeing the MV fellas what occurred between their club and him and Heart days.
Not surprising.
Yes correct point FTB Mombaerts did set the foundation but you still need to direct it week in week out, good to see he's under the MV nose haha j/k.
Its a very small comparison to EPL's United/City rivalry - so yer I'm glad the lesser Club of the past has run over the big neighbour and squashed em, competitively speaking.

Be interesting IF he retains his position for next season rebuild.

Unfortunately PK has the club in a MUCH worse position that when he took over.
It feels like he's only won about one match since he took over and would be without a win in about 10 games.

Unfortunately many coaches would struggle to ride this one out and still have a job in the next season.

If the club were already in the relegation zone when he took over I could be more optimistic but they have had terrible results since he's come on board and the fans are rightfully pissed off.

I think Paddy's days at Troyes are numbered. His team, even in the lesser Ligue 2 after 7 matches, is struggling one point above the drop zone - 1 win, 4 losses, 2 draws.

Bear in mind that 4 teams get relegated at the end of the season.

If the City Group have any ambition of getting Troyes back to Ligue 1, it seems in the far distance at this rate.

Paddy's team now in the relegation zone. I can't see how he can turn it around. Morale at Troyes FC must be rock bottom. I've seen this a few times where a team relegated from 1st division gets relegated from 2nd division in the following year.
