xThey need to do more to promote the games to qualify into the Australia cup. I'm hoping to go to a match this week Which one are you planning on attending mate.... dont think there will be much of a crowd at ours.... let alone any of the others. Maybe Bergers v Bentleigh if you dont want to get lonely.

xGlenorchy Knights secure their debut spot in Australia Cup round of 32 after a 3-2 victory After Extra Time over Kingborough Lions at Lightwood Park. Nuts game and a great crowd down in Tassie... pitch invasion at the final whistle by a dude wearing a helmet, cape sword and shield was just *mwa "chefs kiss" lol

x+x+xRockdale City Suns secure their spot in Australia Cup round of 32 after a 9-1 victory over Phoenix FC at Ilinden Sports Centre. This is the match I watched last night... was a slaughter... The "fightin Irish" jammed a goal in the first minute, had another tet a tet with the keeper turned away a few moments later and then after that it was all one way traffic... fascinating game to watch. not surprising slaughter - Suns are the form Club atm playing a minnow. Got to say the Phoenix are sum 4odd levels down in Club land Prem1, to get where they got to must have been a huge ride for them and supporters. I used to play against the Phoenix , back when they played in the Southern and Eastern FA in the Eastern suburbs on a Sunday. Come a long way in the past twenty years.

x+xLoved seeing the Irish fans last night they were in dreamland the first 10 minutes haha but Rockdale showed their class. I hope to see a Rockdale vs Apia final I still want South to face APIA this year in the cup mate :) That would be massive. Hope we both have a good run this year

x+x+x+xNWS Spirit secure their spot in Australia Cup round of 32 after a 2-1 victory over Sydney United at Christie Park. Absolute Cupset ! Not sure if i'd call it a cupset. United have been bang on average, with 3 or 4 injuries, no depth they are where they are. Everywhere Kalac goes, it turns to shit. well it is in the sense of the difference of Club status and pedigree. It is the classic unexpected cupset - yes I know SU have been bang avg this and last season and for a Club/Spirit playing in L1 who were L3 season before it is great cup football result by them. They have never gone this far ever compared to SU who probably have the best NPL record in the Cup. Agree Kalac is massive concerns, I suppose he's a credible GK coach with all his experience and even there he's moved to alot of gigs but overall Coach ? Not good by the Club of this stature. in that sense, yes. on current form, i am not surprised. They deserved to go out last night.

xhow has Constanzo not given a go in the a league ? He was so direct and a threat all night Wasn't there something floating around about an surname 'returning' to Adelaide for next season? I have a bit of a feeling it could be him (if this hasn't already been solved)

x+xWas able to get down after work, good to see a decent crowd in. Also happened to spot the likes of Simon hill and Alex brosque in the crowd which is great to see. Marconi didn’t play particularly well, have critiqued tsekenis style on here before, but then we do seem to pull out good performances from time to time, and then other weeks it’s just a slog. Good performance from costanzo, was dangerous down the wing. Jesic is still a good/important player and leader of the field, but every season but as you’d expect he’s slowing down just a little bit more and becoming less effective. Deserved result for APIA in my opinion, they had the better of the chances. Feels like APIA have very much had the wood over Marconi in recent years, off the top of my head I can’t recall the last time we’ve beaten them Costanzo is a delightful player.... better midfield behind him and he can turn a game.... I think Marconi out up a great fight mate.... they where having alot of success down that left wing just couldnt make a final ball to save their lives.... match genuinely could have gone either way with all the chances... and your keeper (sorry forgot his name)..... what a superstar......
