+xWiesbaden get one back. 1:2 with 13 to go. That Croatian striker is like Bruno. Just gets goals and really can't be benched. Wrong thread!

From a development/Gametime perspective I don't get this.... Irankunda hasn't been an automatic starter and the A-league doesn't offer a long season as it is. Bundesliga reserve sides have seemed to be a graveyard for young Aussies.

+x+xHaven't read the articles, but my take from reading the first headline of this thread: he has a big move to Bayern coming up. Not selecting him for Olyroos will be every bit about not accidentally fucking him up for that. Nothing to do with what country he wants to play for and who in Australia wants him to. Nothing. For folks here who consider themselves a football crowd: how many U23 games do top line NT players play in their career? It's not as common as you think. Usually if you're that good, you don't play more than a hand full because you're already good enough for the real thing. He'll learn just as much and probably more in his first month at Bayern than he will being in an Olyroos camp. Fuck I live close enough to Munich, I can get on over there and tell him Adelaide's a piss ant town. I did my 25 years in that shit hole... Sucks for the Olyroos but then again, it's only the Olympics. Where does this perception of him walking into bayern munich team? you really want him running around with the 18 year olds? not playing mens football? Tuchel is gone at end of season... they are going after Xabi Alonso very hard.... he doesn't play with wingers... where's he going to play? Watch him go over and fucking rot in youth football like the last 10 we sent over to germany. It wouldn’t surprise me if they convert him into a wingback especially in Alonso’s 3-4-3 with both wingbacks are quite advanced with both Frimpong and Grimaldo doing quite well under him. I don’t see him as one of the attacking midfielders either but let’s see if Alonso does move I read a rumour he might stay at Leverkusen and maybe Bayern might try to bring back Naggelsmen instead after the national team duty at the euros.

Alonso not going to Bayern. Yeah if Xavi satys in Germany next season it will be with Leverkusen (so he stated) but as for Real the following year.... I dont think BOTH Mbappe and Vini will still be there it will be either one or the other, at least in my opinion....

+x+x+xFor context Endrick made he’s debut for Brazil at 17, Lamine Yamal made he’s debut for Spain at 16.
They are both generational talents.. same as Irankunda...Nestory might not be as good but he is the best talent from his generation. I've watched quite a lot of Endrick and Lamine and man Nestory is definitely up there. Has intangibles that both of them don't have. Lamine is very good though. If he gets to play with Bayern next season and maybe become a semi regular then the chances of playing for the Socceroos sooner will only sharpen. Because both Endrick and Yamal are playing for their club teams and are seen fit to play for their senior national teams from that and that makes a big difference, whilst Nestory is doing it in the a-league but will get tested in a much higher level so we will know sooner rather than later if he's ready to step into the Socceroos set up. Endrick of course will move to Real Madrid once he turns 18 but the Brazilian league is quite strong and their top talents move into big clubs in Europe anyway.

Loving your input on the young players on here, huge call that, but loving it. I watched him live when Adelaide played Sydney & I had to keep reminding myself this kid was 17 years old, he was that good & that much better than anyone else on the park.

All parties involved were obviously aware and coordinating the whole thing before it ever became an article. Irankunda is going to be a Socceroo. Patience lads Thats just Arnie's international scout/ancestry.com back-up plan :P

+xHe should be there no question I just hope this doesn't bite us later on if they dont qualify. Once in a lifetime experience playing in an Olympic Games, its also also obvious the coaches are risk adverse and needed changing after the World Cup as we got stacks of talent coming through and you need the coaches to reflect that and im not sure they are capable of building the new generation of players. This is my concern at the moment. Arnie was perfect for the team we were in Qatar. I'm not sure he's the best fit for the team we could be at the next World Cup.

In the end not getting circati and at least 1 midfielder from a 1st teir euro club will probably hurt us more. Hoping that we see irankunda in paris if we get there

+x+x+x+xCrucial he gets picked for June qualifiers just to ensure Tanzania or Burundi don't get in his hear. While I don't think it'll happen it's best to just have it sorted to prevent it even being conceivable. In what world or parallel universe is anyone picking barundi or Tanzania over Australia? Aren't black people allowed to be proud of their heritage? He not white enough to represent a different nation? stupid take, even for you Are you surprised though? I just saw his name and went 'yep'.
