+xFrom having no games on TV with the NSL (maybe one a week) to having every game live on Fox was amazing, made an effort to watch every game where possible regardless of who was playing. People wanted to get rid of Fox, the grass ain't always greener, even though ultimately they didn't want us. Agreed. Foxtel coverage was and is decent. People actually thought having a free to air game on 7 or 9 or 10 was gonna be awesome LoL They got it for nothing and spent fuck all promotion money to promote the A-league lol

+x+x+x+x+xI know it doesn't work for everyone but I have P+ on my phone, tablet and TV and they work fine. I get all the NT stuff, both A-Leagues, the Asian tournaments and all the match replays including highlights and mini matches. All for the price of a schooner a month. Just get it. What difference does it actually make on which platform or channel you actually watch it. Who's actually looking a match on the TV going 'this should be on fox, they'd do a better job'? It's the same mob broadcasting it and the same commentators. Much ado about nothing. P+ gets hate all out of whack with what they provide. Fox was like $100 a month for even a halfway decent package. P+ is less than $10. I pay 10 euro a month for a smart set top box hook up, for 500 sports channels (has optus as well), all epl, champions league and euro/south American stuff from every broadcaster you can imagine. also has every major (and minor) tv channel from Europe, USA and middle east. and I think about 13,000 movies on demand. Don't have a single other subscription How do you arrange that? Hadn't read all the way through to your link when I posted this.. link is something different for the hook up I have you need a digital set top box app on smart tv's, and then you need to find someone to connect you to the channels. right. +x2005-2012 Foxtel paid $125 million. 2012-2015- Foxtel and SBS paid $160 Million 2015-2021 Foxtel paid $346 million 2021- Paramount $200 million. So Fox put around $600 million in the game, the production quality and marketing was great and the best its ever been. Paramount's effort is laughable in comparison. Best period in Australian football in living memory was when Fox bank-rolled it. I can't argue with that

+xThere i said I can't hold it any longer. Everything was on Foxtel it was a simpler time. I miss sbs Les Murray, foster even basheer I miss back to back football games and peacock. I miss EPL red button games I miss bozza I miss football superstar and nerds FC We were spoilt back then we just didn't know it 😢 for the AL they were A HELL of a lot better then Paramount 10Bold isnt bad i dont mind there saturday night coverage but the Paramount coverage is bad for the PL i probably prefer Optus app over foxtels but i liked Bozza/Slater and co talking about the PL however optus has easy access to replies/high lights etc overall i agree with you OP it was a simpler time but those days are long gone I certainly miss the world game and SBS coverage of football ie the odd UCL game, the Socceroos etc Les Murray was a legend, i miss Zelic and his individual brilliance, Zdrilla, Lucy etc - unfortnetly SBS abandoned football but i do miss the old days even if we go back to the world cup you see how 'good the SBS' is at hosting football events - unfortunately the SBS is pretty woke now and has no interest in football

You want me to post a link to a guys phone number FFS ? Had no idea it was a phone number. Thought it was some online thing. You won’t see too many online. +x+xFox Sports can suck my fat one. They tried to kill the game and i never wanna go back. +x FOX. DIDN'T. WANT. IT. Repeat after me. FOX. DIDN'T. WANT. IT.
Paramount and 10 were the only mob that bid. The only mob.
Correct. Actually Fox did bid, but its was an offensive, low-ball bid ($12 million was the rumour). And I believe there was dialogue with Stan, but they never entered a bid And why would they want it? There's a limit to how much money a business with burn through on future earnings forecast. Those forecasts never happened. No wonder they wanted out early. Haha FOX tried to kill the game mentioned. No Lowy and his cronies screwed and fucked the game long before FOX decided to re address future outlay. seriously some people - any business or home owner putting money into something that is not delivering moves on and cuts their loss’s. They made the right call look where it’s ended up. i have NO issues with Optus Sport ever since the previous WC - it’s worth its weight in gold once it got the WC rights back then and the EPL amongst other leagues. Never mind paying when the product delivers, like I said just some people are tight arse’s. Had it perfect with FOX but some on wrong expensive packages but any troubles viewing - at the flick of the remote easy as. Now you pay peanuts for sub standard product for some incl me but where is the game since ?! In the shadows.
