All hindsight but they need Gilmour to play a Mooy style role. A right winger as Ralston has been terrible.
Penalty Germany. Looked a fall. We'll see VAR.

2:0 Germany on 20. Chile 2014 style. It's so so frustrating from Scotland. Not entirely sure that McGinn is on the right for Villa. Just a ghost so far. Robertson with no attack initiative. Mctomminay and McGregor are way too high.

1:0 Germany on 10. That's incredibly poor coverage by Scotland who have 6 on 2 and allow Wirtz to score on edge of box. Germany Australia 2010 vibes here.

+xHere we go. Ex Melbourne City Jack Henry starting. Such an obscure career path. Sainsbury-like if you will. Probably a handy talented player. Scotland absolutely must bite early and press and win the ball. also crazy that if you just look at the clubs scotland play for, they are stronger on paper than our golden gen but I reckon they would get roughly similar results and performances against similar opposition super weird

When you look at Scotland's centre back options they've really missed out on Souttar there. I find Hanley so painful to watch. Always getting turned or giving away penalties. Goalkeeper options aren't good either. They'll have to shore up their defence and then it's the top midfield and fairly decent attack to get the win.

Scotland fans all over like Australia in Kaiserslautern in 2006. Really good atmosphere. The economy here needs the shot in the arm as a lot of people have stopped eating out.

+x+x+xSwear to god this is my last chance to get my Mrs to watch football with me. Put in a solid month watching end to end reality TV trash with her + the ice hockey world championship. But then we go and win the fuckin thing so how does that play out? More eager to watch euro because "we could win that too" or will she drop it after we concede the first goal? If I watched Love Is Blind etc for nothing I will be livid And first game is against Portugal you poor bugga :( Good luck... hahaha your a beauty, you must have looked up who won the ice hockey then saw the draw vs CR7 haha Yep she won't be watching much longer Bohemia I hazard to guess but damn I'd luv if Czechia put one in the net to see the portugese faces and going off at each other lol..... Hahahah no I always assumed Bohemia was married to a Czech bird and lived over there... sorry if not the case. I know NOTHING about Ice hockey... :)

Mine always has players she loves and hates for whatever reason and keeps her interested in watching

+x+xHow do most people watch this? Do you get up for the 5 am or watch the highlights or just watch the 11:00 pm match? Unless Italy is playing, I will just chuck the 11pm match on. If I'm up for other games, will watch, but won't go out of my way too (until maybe the semis) Yeah fair enough. I think I'll just watch the highlights and avoid the scores.

+x+x+x+xThx for sharing this. Who do you think will make the final and are you going to any matches? Not going to any matches. My clicks see Spain England final or France in the final against many suitors the other side of the draw. My little predictor thing on Futmob - I've got France beating Spain in the final too. lol..... everytime I do it I get the same result ...... hahahahaha Ive got a feeling France are going to majorly choke though.... just a pure hunch..... I mean... a final is anyones game. I didn't expect Italy to win the final last time around, but it was a bloody good outcome! When I go through it, the tricky game I got, was all related to the other side of the draw. Potential QF's tough to pick between a Spain v Germany game (with the winner, in my books, going on to face the winner of Netherlands v Portugal/Italy - which let's be real will probably be Netherlands v Portugal).

Really hoping we have a few of the not usual suspects really rocking the boat this Euro. Here's some trivia whilst surfing this morn : The oldest and youngest teams of EURO-2024 have been announced. This was determined after all teams submitted applications for the competition in Germany, as Idman.biz informs. The total average age of all football players who will compete in EURO-2024 is 27.04. Scotland is the "oldest" team in the championship according to the average age of players on the order sheet (28.31). 9 members of the British team are over 30 years of age and only 1 player is yet to turn 23. In Germany, which has the same number of "30+" players, the average is 28.15. Four members of the Bundestag are under the age of 23. It is interesting that the two oldest teams are in the same group. Among the 6 oldest teams are Slovenia (27.94), Poland (27.81), Switzerland and Croatia (both 27.69). The youngest national team is the Czech Republic – 25.31 years old. Turkiye (25.85) and England (26.05) are also in the top three. Ukraine (26.46) and France (26.48) are also in the "Top-5".
