Swear to god this is my last chance to get my Mrs to watch football with me.

Put in  a solid month watching end to end reality TV trash with her + the ice hockey world championship. But then we go and win the fuckin thing so how does that play out? More eager to watch euro because "we could win that too" or will she drop it after we concede the first goal?

If I watched Love Is Blind etc for nothing I will be livid

Scotland fans all over like Australia in Kaiserslautern in 2006. Really good atmosphere. The economy here needs the shot in the arm as a lot of people have stopped eating out. 

When you look at Scotland's centre back options they've really missed out on Souttar there. I find Hanley so painful to watch. Always getting turned or giving away penalties. Goalkeeper options aren't good either. They'll have to shore up their defence and then it's the top midfield and fairly decent attack to get the win. 

Here we go. Ex Melbourne City Jack Henry starting. Such an obscure career path. Sainsbury-like if you will. Probably a handy talented player.

Scotland absolutely must bite early and press and win the ball. 

also crazy that if you just look at the clubs scotland play for, they are stronger on paper than our golden gen

1:0 Germany on 10. That's incredibly poor coverage by Scotland who have 6 on 2 and allow Wirtz to score on edge of box. Germany Australia 2010 vibes here. 

2:0 Germany on 20. Chile 2014 style. It's so so frustrating from Scotland. Not entirely sure that McGinn is on the right for Villa. Just a ghost so far. Robertson with no attack initiative. Mctomminay and McGregor are way too high. 

All hindsight but they need Gilmour to play a Mooy style role. A right winger as Ralston has been terrible.

Two footer in box. Penalty Germany and red. 3:0 on ht. Nightmare by Scotland a lot of their own making. 

Interesting ref didn't blow penalty initially. It seemed a clear tackle. Seemingly did it only as VAR was there as back up.

Great to see captain only rule to speaking with ref. Worked very well tonight so far.

Germany win 5:1. Scotland just woeful tonight and Germany didn't need to try overly hard. Scotland will go all out in the next 2 games. 

Germany look like they have another gear. They are the hosts so will be tough to beat

No doubt they’ll be pumped and hard to beat but as we saw, poor Scots a few levels down.
Obviously sat deep/er made it pretty easy for the Germans keeping possession and setting the pace.
Scots midfield were weak slow and left too much of a hole between their backline.
Germans too quick pressing mistakes within 2 pass’s by the Scots, they don’t have the talent to hold the ball.
I expected more from McTomminey for in the epl he shows ability.
McGinn was useless not that I rate him much.
I hope it’s a false dawn for the Germans for they won’t have it as easy once they play the better capable NT’s.

This bang average Scotland team have won only one of their last ten. They are SHITE.

Clarke picks a lot of current and ex Celtic players, who everyone knows, cannot play outside of Scotland, particularly, in Europe.

I think it's good for the sport for non powerhouse teams to do well so hoping Switzerland, Hungary, Poland then countries like Croatia and Belgium upset the likes of England, Germany, france, Spain, Italy and Holland
