Newcastle played Brentford away so it seems they managed to get out of Heathrow Sunday night. It's such a short turnaround. 

Exactly, I love watching the All Star games. Garang pretty much announced himself when they played Barca - then went on to sign the big contract and make the WC squad. Hopefully some of young guys can put their names up in lights on Friday.

Is there a reason why the aleague mens all stars match with Newcastle United kicks off at 5pm? The women’s one is on 7.30pm against Arsenal. 

I guess they're giving top billing to the Matildas, which is fair enough.

What's the point of this match with Newcastle fielding such a weak side

This reminds me of when Brazil played the Socceroos in the late 90s/early 2000s they promised the fans the stars such as Ronaldo, Rivaldo etc instead we got their B team whom mostly were unknowns. 

At the MCG, they ended up refunding that game and making it free entry. Was a great night!

I assume Arsenal will field a full strength team in the womens game. Thats what 90% of the crowd will be there for anyway.
