got to say I was pretty lucky being born with good hand eye co ordination. Gimme a ball sport I'll get the hang of it bit by bit, I took up golf due to business and convenience late 30's, you know that feeling, 1 good shot out of 20 hahaha Its a bug now around a 18HC not that I work on it BUT got to say its the HARDEST game I've ever tried ! How hard is it to hit a little static ball whereas gimme a football and I can put it on the spot where I want to ! So I admire these robots who hit a thousand balls a day and put it on a dial. I like watching the top flight, PGA/LIV golf and right now the British Open, these guys are assasins so to speak. So our olympic 4 players are pretty hot - the young Lee bro and sister, Jason Day and Hannah Green. Yer I'm over cricket, went too commercial, too many tournaments and after the eras I grew up with nothing compares and the game like many sports changing rules have sanitised the larrikan DNA we treasure. Baseball, yer watch paint dry haha

Big opening Saturday in swimming with both 400m and 4x100m relays. Women's 400 belongs to Titmus. The 200m it's her vs O'Callaghan. Both relays in with a big shout at gold and Samuel Short, a world champ, not to mention Winnington, are top 400m chances.
I see the entire competition of men's football play Wednesday. Uzbekistan Spain will be a good watch to gauge the AFC.

9Now, being the free 9 app, I assume will only show events that 'must' be shown on FTA as per the anti-siphoning list (such as the Matildas games, as one example) and all the Australian events. Germany had already qualified, so the result I guess doesnt matter, but theyve been in pretty average form outside of the Olympic qualifier where they won away to Holland. Now that you mention it I think that's right. I saw a headline saying Olympic test failure but it was a dead rubber in that sense. Game against Austria in Hannover tomorrow night.

Has Stan provided what they will be showing ? Forgive me I’m not a Stan subscriber at this stage. Nine has it. I'm just paying for stan for a month. I'll watch what I can live everything else I can watch on replay. I recommended getting the Olympics app and just making notes what you want to watch. I assume as always the popular sports will be on normal tv

Thu 26 July - Germany v Australia - 3am (eastcoast time) Sun 28 July - Australia v Zambia - 3am (eastcoast time) Wed 31 July - Australia v USA - 3am (eastcoast time) Ouch that's rough. Don't think I'll find myself getting up for much of that. Except for maybe the USA game if it's winnable. But I'd like a good night sleep before my birthday hahaha. Agreed on the smorgasbord of sports I wouldn't normally watch. I've done my second update of a childhood book that outlines rules for literally almost any sport. Great Olympic handbook. Does it have the rules for Olympic breakdancing on it? hehehehehe Alas, no.... But - that is one of things I've had to share for work haha  This is really cool!! The inforgraphic/sheet, not breakdancing as an Olympic sport. Can these be downloaded somewhere? Would be great for my kids as I'm trying to get them into sport more, so to help explain the rules and so on. AOC have been sharing infographics on their social channels and info on new sports recently, will be expecting a bit more in the next few weeks and as events start
