I really dislike the kit that won the third kit competition before with the swan. I don't oppose the swan, I wouldn't even hate a swan on the shield, but the design was horrible.

And what exactly has come of that kit? :-k

March 15, out of all the designs that was the one I least liked, I was so surprised that I even sent an email to the club, but they assured me they also received a lot of email votes for it.

We had that pairing last week with Burns the #8 and McGarry at #10. It didn't work (understatement of the year).

That would go down like a lead balloon, as would Burns (unless Lowe wants to be sacked next week  ).

The coach defended that spit, it wasn't Danny going mental, it was him just asking Harold to "raise his standards".

What realistic changes would you like to see before kick-off next season? And then within 3-5 years time.

I don't want to see any changes, realistic or not, before I see Sage and/or over 50% of the board gone.

The club's got such a limited gene pool in administration that it's not funny, and it contributes to the short-term mentality that we've had for some time.

This x 10000000. What's to stop this fan forum being just like the others. They got limited numbers on the last one when it was open, now they're limiting it to just members, and are screening questions...whilst hosting it as Dave says, in one of the boy's club.

That's no indication of change. Brewer can talk on twitter all he likes about change being a process but when weeks beforehand it's revealed their trying to get Mark Harvey ffs on board, of course we're not going to believe them.

Not sure we can credit them with the Edwards exception; they turned to the FFA in desperation and the FFA provided him, didn't they?

FFA continued to pay Edwards wages during his loan spell to Glory, Glory paid nothing.

Can't see it being any of those - Sage was trying to massage Smeltz' ego into signing the other day in an article, Thwaite is also seen as core to the club, and Gallas is the big-name signing Sage stumped cash up for.

I took the rumour as Burns or McGarry, like most.

Fuck, the best youth of his age going around, publicly stating his frustration not getting game time in the AL.

He's gone come season end even if he has an iron clad contract because Glory never seem to honour those things. #-o

Imagine how good he's gonna be in a year or two and then we'll all be wax a lyrical about the time we saw him play and how good he was and it was a shame he left.

You can see it happening this far from the end of the season.

Glory have gone from playing youth with a view to taking this season as a rebuilding year. That has been thrown out the window and they are back playing old men for the results and a hopeful finals appearance. Even Sage is saying the same shit and believing it.

AAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ](*,)

Once again I got my hopes up way too much for this weekends game. When they said there was a big squad change I was hoping DeSilva would be on the list (and really hopefull that it would be at the expense of Burns). I was hoping that if Lowe was going to persist with the 433 that we would eventually see on game day sometime during the 90s minutes:

-------V
Risdon, Thwaite, Gallas, Woodcock
--------------Griffiths
----Marinkovic-------DeSilva
Sernas-----Smeltz----------Sciola

Not gonna propose a change of purple for our home kit, has meaning behind it(not an ethnic aligned colour) and is our main club colour.

An iron-ore coloured jersey with a pebble-y design?

Good lord. Just call us the Cape Lambert Miners and be done with it

Wildcats chose red as part of a rebranding from memory, as they used to be White/Gold/Black. Others will have a better understanding than me though.

Glory chose purple originally due to it being a non-traditional football colour (in Australia). But you probably realise that already...
