I've been missing out! Quality of Glory threads and forums are roughly equivalent to the amount of lulz or facepalms happening at the club at any given time. Not gonna lie, in the last few months before SB brought his homophobia and insults to this thread, it was by far the most used supporter thread on the forum. However, it's died off a little in the last month or so.... Funnily enough Ahhh nostalgia eh EG. Those days when you could all come on here and agree with each other and cry and whine about the club but unfortunately the lack of a testicle between you all didnt permit you to have the courage to say attend a forum, or send some correspondence to the club outlining your grievances or even something as simple as picking up the phone to the club and venting. Ooo no. Instead come on here and find like-minded sycophants to stroke your ego and put smiley faces against your posts or “x 1” or thumbs up. Ah those were the days my friend, you thought they’d never end. Then along came a couple of posters who didn’t agree. And a few precious loves on here are desperately struggling with that aren’t they EG…….…. ;)

It would be terrible if you were ever to agree with me on something, as clearly it would stop giving you a reason to post on this forum. Embarrassing. Epitomises everything I said on the previous page. Would you have perhaps liked him to have agreed with everything you said ? perhaps even add a couple of thumbs up or smiley emoticons as well ?no…not forthcoming ? Maybe you should wait in the hope some white knight will roll in and support you from the big bad man ? Or, get this, perhaps you can actually stop being such a whiny 12 year old girl and either debate the subject of his post or simply ignore it. That way you would actually appear less pathetic. SB, I'll let you off here because [under this name at least] I don't know who you are offline or how long you've been around Glory threads on 442 or other forums. But all I will say on the matter is if you think I seek a pat on the head from everyone on what I say, you're sadly mistaken. For what it's worth, I'm completely open to people having a different point of view - I'd be highly hypocritical if I wasn't. In Begbie's case though, as with one or two past members, the man simply seems to exists to nay-say whatever I or others say. If you were able to look over the 107 posts he's made on the forum, very rarely will you find him expressing his own ideas first or suggesting something new. Rather, it's a series of "no" responses and put-downs to what other people have to say. I'm no fan of mindless cheerleading (http://www.fourfourtwo.com/au/features/between-death-pom-poms) be it for your club or what someone says, and nor am I a fan of the "computer says no" automatic negativity that people bring without good reason. Yes, I put the club's administration to the sword at times - deservedly so in my view - but I would like to think that I contribute more to intelligent debate than someone sitting there quoting others and telling them how wrong they are without putting anything towards the discussion themselves in the first place. I couldn't care less if people disagree with me - just don't make it your continuing existence to disagree with people without adding something yourself. In this case, your rampant hyperbole about posters is sadly misplaced. Poor show. Dear Dave, I disagree. Oh, and your post is still fucking embarrassing. Sincerely SB Edited by Straight Bat: 14/2/2014 04:52:50 PM Step 1. Express an opion on an internet forum Step 2. read response step 3. rather than trying to justify your original opinion, whinge that people just don't agree with you Step 4. continue to ignore the response to your opinion again complain that posters don't agree with you. return to step 1. Go easy on them mate, I get a feeling they're all fragile teens. Except for perhaps Scoll, who I picture as an early fifty year old I.T specialist living with his mother. Carry on as you are soldier.

Well might be later now, I'm hoping to get some concepts on some kits/emblems to send him.
Outside of yellow and black, what would you guys say are some symbolic colours of WA or Perth city for an away and 3rd kit.

Coming from someone who frequently accuses others of 'sucking cock' as his base form of argument, that's pretty hilarious. I don't know what's funnier - the idea that you yourself would be the fragile teen, or that you'd be saying things like that despite reaching the age of 'adult'

An iron-ore coloured jersey with a pebble-y design? edit: Or maybe a hi-vis kit? But Victory already beat us to that... Edited by petszk: 14/2/2014 05:45:06 PM

An iron-ore coloured jersey with a pebble-y design? Good lord. Just call us the Cape Lambert Miners and be done with it  Wildcats chose red as part of a rebranding from memory, as they used to be White/Gold/Black. Others will have a better understanding than me though. Glory chose purple originally due to it being a non-traditional football colour (in Australia). But you probably realise that already...

Not gonna propose a change of purple for our home kit, has meaning behind it(not an ethnic aligned colour) and is our main club colour.

I don't think changing the away is necessary either. Having orange on the away helps distinguish us from Freemantle. I wish football was bigger here, and that a Freemantle team could be viable.
I really dislike the kit that won the third kit competition before with the swan. I don't oppose the swan, I wouldn't even hate a swan on the shield, but the design was horrible.

Please be Burns.

Please be Burns. My money would be on McGarry, making way for a Griffiths-JBFC pairing.

Also saw a rumour on twitter from a "Credible source" that Hierro will get the Glory job next year. I'll believe it when i see it, but I can imagine the promise of a big name coach being enough for Sage.

Let's see...
Smith (FFA inherited) Mitchell (assistant) Ferguson (assistant's assistant) Edwards - exception, although I think he was a former board member? Lowe (assistant's other assistant)

Can't see it being any of those - Sage was trying to massage Smeltz' ego into signing the other day in an article, Thwaite is also seen as core to the club, and Gallas is the big-name signing Sage stumped cash up for. I took the rumour as Burns or McGarry, like most.
