What drew me back to paying to watch football again is the non-ethnic teams concept of the A-League, which has succeeded in uniting the tribes and is setting attendance records all over the country. The reason that I, along with thousands of other Sydney football fans, don't attend any State League games is the fact the old regime still exists there, with most teams catering only for their restricted ethnic base, and it is really sad. We need something similar to the A-League revolution right across the lower leagues and the sooner the better.
