There were a few stomach mud slides that day too. I played in similar conditions back in.. 08 or so. And Jason Hoffman, then a state league striker, put 5 goals past my team. He didn't get a chance to celebrate the 5th because a lightning strike and near-instant crack of thunder led to all of us sprinting towards the clubhouse to get shelter

Knee slides are just the worst. IIRC Arsene Wenger banned his players from doing it after someone got injured - maybe Henry?
Usually I'll do the Ljubo Milicevic dance move (jerks fans know) or recently I scored a goal and mrs & baby v4 were there so I ran over to them and gave baby v4 a big sweaty cuddle and kiss, which she loved

Never celebrated when i played... i figured a pat on the back from a teammate or just look out for whoever did the hard part... otherwise i mean your not showing off to a crowd... fair chances out of the 10 people that are watching 2 are the parents of the young kid that made the team 2 are girlfriends that don't want to be there are the rest are the wife and kids of the one guy who keeps bringing their annoying wife and kids.
Maybe a stray dog that is probably better than your current left back.

But the best one ever was similar to the above. Playing against a keeper who wasn't shy about letting everyone know he was about to sign with a league side - who was, to be fair, a very good player - I got through one on one and nutmegged him before scoring... Then went back to congratulate him on his pro contract. He got the last laugh - played about 200 league games whilst I was stuck working in an office. Edit - I got booked too. Today, I smiled and high fived the player who assisted my goal.

I only play indoor now, so I don't really celebrate unless we score a significant goal. Just a few hi-fives and a fist in the air.

I don't play football, but if I did I'd celebrate with the Luca Toni wrist flick.

I've done it all. Shirt over the head (gf winner back in the day). Shirt off and spun in air. Pointed to the spot where name should be on back of shirt. Been the plane. Ran round the goal with arm in the air... Yet I haven't scored in 6 games this season. Holding mid is shite. :(

Lol when we won our indoor grand final we smashed the team and we had been planning the bowling ball celebration for ages because we were about 16 goals up but we were to unorganized but my mate scored a tap in, grabbed the ball and bowled it to three of us at the half way line and we did the routine but we felt like the biggest dicks after it but it was well worth it except I hit my head on our goal keepers knee pretty hard.

I'm never on the goal sheet. I'm a goal keeper. although, the best ever goal celebration ive had happen to me, was the dude scored off a free kick, i got a couple of fingers to it when i dived, but couldnt quite get to it, but he comes up to me, look me in the eye, grins, and says "Good effot mate, better luck next time" before patting me on the back, picking the ball outta the net and sprinting back to halfway....the only thing was, it was my best mate who played for the opposition, so it was kinda a killer, i was just standing there, looking at the ground shaking my head laughing,
