All the people in the world supporting Dani Alves is just amazing.
Plus the NBA have banned the Clippers owner for life, and will bully him into selling the team.
Amazing stuff! Racism has no place anywhere IMO, and it's good to see people doing what they can to stamp it out of the world. Meanwhile in the A-league.

Something football can learn from The NBA's stance on Sterling is born from the fact that he's a dime a dozen multi-millionaire schmuck. He's easily replaced. It's a powerful and positive statement when compared to the NFL, who when Colts owner Jim Irsay was caught DUI with half an ounce of cocaine in his glovebox swept the whole thing under the rug.

Ps in reply to your question in the other thread, nope I didn't play it this season. Many, many seasons ago (I specifically remember Jedi was playing for CCM) I played & finished 4th overall. After that, I haven't played.

WFMB: my season long multi paying off. $550 in the bank.
Bayern Munich Juventus PSG to win their leagues. Everton top 10 finish
$100 @ 5.50
Now I just need Arsenal to win the FA cup and it's another $150 in my pocket.

But i think he does have to work on using his size to his advantage, he's still pretty weak in a challenge.

I never fully appreciated how awesome his footwork, turning, and general athleticism was until I saw him in the flesh.

I used to see him a bit 'round Canberra but I don't think he's been back in a while.

That's awesome! How good, yet slightly depressing, is it to have played with guys and being able to watch them play at a high level? I've played with a few HAL players, and against many of them in Newcastle state league. I've also had the pleasure of playing with&against many former NSL players. It's a delight to watch these guys either still playing after a pro career, or see them go on to bigger & better things.

I played with Riley Woodcock and Scott Galloway in Under 11s. Often covered Riley on his frequent runs forward (most of them ended in goals).
