Jesus Christ how overweight were you?

Losing 50kg as an adolescent is enormous.

433, my starting weight was 126 kg and I'm currently 115.7 kg. Goal weight is 75 kg (assuming I don't join a gym and put on a bit of muscle).

How tall are you?

I've been browsing /r/progresspics constantly (a subreddit for people to post their before and after weight loss photos) and most of them gain at least three points on the attractiveness scale. Keen to trade in my double chin for an actual jawline.

WFMB: Finally getting into a normal routine around work. Went to bed at 12 last night and don't feel like s train wreck this morning. 

Good work. Just make sure the way your going about losing weight is something you can maintain over a long period. If your trying to lose another 40 kg soon enough you will hit a plateau (you'll actually run into a number of plateaus along the way) where your body will decide not to lose anymore. The beginning is the hardest on your body but the rewards are the greatest (quickest weight lost). In the medium to long term the physical aspect (exercise) becomes easier, as fitness improves, however the mental effort to maintain becomes more challenging.  

Just like the body has an internal clock it also has a internal guage on where your 'ideal' body weight should be (the weight your bodys conditioned to be at up until this point). Your body weight gauge would still be set on what your original weight was (126kg). Once you hit your plateau the key is not to worry that nothings happenning and your not losing weight. Its just the bodys way of saying "ok what the fucks going on, this isnt normal, im putting a stop to this." You may stay in this plateau for weeks, however this is where you actually teach your body that your "ideal" body weight isnt 126kg anymore, it's lets say 100kg. Once the body accepts this weight, over time, then it will allow you to lose more weight again.

Again the key is maintaining this 'lifestyle change' (not dieting), exercising regularly and having a consistent eating regime (time of meals, number of meals per day, source of food ie. carbos for lunch, protein at night etc) will allow your body to get into full swing and become more comfortable with the change your making. The more the body has to adapt to your eating habits the more time it will take to lose weight. I can't stress enough that maintaining this lifestyle over time is the key.

WFMB: Just got my anonymous teacher evaluation results from my Uni students, 80% rated me as outstanding and the rest gave me Very Good. Feels good man.

WFMB: Full time contract signed today after 1 month trial, I think I'm an adult now.
WFMB: Picked up Iphone 7+, walked past around 100 people in Chadstone all waiting to try and get one :lol:

Wfmb: found the car i want. 
Wfmb: thinking of buidling a house again. 

WFMB: Finally moving into our new house on Friday. The only frustrating part is we can't get opticomm connected until Monday 3rd of October even though we had it booked for this Friday.  Means no tv, home phone, or Internet. 

WFMB: Knocked over my first 100kms on the bike. Did a 45km ride today from home to Bondi Beach & back via Centennial Park, Vaucluse & New South Head Road. Given I yet don't have a actual road bike and I'm still on my '27 Giant Boulder Mountain bike I'm pretty impressed given it's taken a week for that first 100km. Mind you, I've only been working 2-3 days a week recently, so that makes it a little easier to get out on the bike. 

Hopefully I'll be able to knock out 500kms in the next month or two, and maybe it's a little adventurous to aim for - as the adrenaline is still coursing through my body, but hoping to knock over 1,000kms by years end. Given I'm moving house next week, and will be working more it's going to be difficult to fit in, but if I start commuting to work I might be able to knock over the kms without too much trouble. Looking forward to the challange! :D:):D
