WFMB: This podcast
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

WFMB: Getting home from work after a brutal 12 hour slog without a break, without dinner, and having a solid fucking feed washed down with ice cold beer. The last couple hours were hard, but the knowledge that dinner and then some was in the fridge got me through the close. :)

The closest you get is maybe skulling a schooner of water in between customers. If the bar thins out long enough you get a quick chance to suck down a cigerette and maybe a bag of chips haha. Thats hospitality for you though.

WFMB: I dressed up as Santa for babyv4's playgroup xmas party yesterday. Was driven in by a firetruck & everything. The ultimate white person thing to do, but man it was unreal. One of my alltime memories.

One of my alltime memories. Great stuff. I dressed up as Santa today for a bunch of high needs autistic kiddies. The kids (and myself) had an absolute ball. Was doing at as favour but loved it so much I'd happily do it again.

The first kid at my party to run up to me was a girl with down syndrome and she was just absolutely buzzing that she got to meet Santa. Later in the day I was standing there eating some food & she ran up & hugged my arse  Awesome stuff all round, puts a smile on everyones face.

Been on a spending spree the last week, treating myself after a long year with ups and downs. My PC was coming to an end, lasted me pretty long for a about 5 years so I can't complain. Ordered one from PC Case gear https://www.pccasegear.com/products/37195/pccg-aura-1080-gaming-systemj, it is a beast compared to what I have had before and should arrive before Christmas. Upgraded my monitors to three 34 ultrawides, the centre one is for gaming https://www.pccasegear.com/products/34726 which has decent refresh rate with Gsync and the other two are LG 34UC97s with a lower refresh rate. Upgraded my desk, keyboard, mouse and mouse pad as well with Corsair RGB etc. Also bought a the HTC Vive Virtual Reality kit, been watching people use it on twitch and it looks awesome, cant wait to try it out but my current pc probably can't handle it. Finally got $200s worth of steam credit to splurge on games, used to be a big pc gamer when I was younger but slowly moved to consoles but I am trying to head back to pc gaming with this new rig. Cheaper deals on steam, more variety and better graphics. Time for some more beer and some Overwatch on Xbox one later after the Perth vs Sydney game.

Nice bit of gear but I laughed when I saw the price. Bloody hell. My 16 foot Catamaran racing machine only cost $2750.00 and my Tinny, with motor, sounder, electric motor, marine battery etc etc only cost $3500.00.

Is Wellington diverse? Dont know, however this is a club that has no historical or existing link to a specific migrant group - Rusty Einstein
The negative stereotypes are perpetuated by people who either have no idea or are serving a vested interest; neither viewpoint should get anywhere near running Australian football - Ange Postecoglou

WFMB: cold showers.
Just before Xmas I randomly one day decided to have a completely cold shower. And I surprisingly loved it. Been doing it ever since, and it's been great. Yesterday I googled "why can't I have cold showers all the time" and a brief skim of a couple of pages, apparently cold showers are a thing that are meant to give you health benefits etc. Cbf researching the legitimacy of the claims, but in the meantime imma keep the cold showers running and continue to love life.

They're good in the warmer months, can be daunting in the depths of winter. I like to have a cold shower before on game day if I don't have time to go for a dip in the ocean in the morning. I find that after the brainfreeze that comes in winter it helps loosen my muscles and I get can running quicker.

WFMB: I'm back, my research project drama has been resolved and 2017 is off to a solid start. I've gotten back on track with my diet and lost a bit over one kg since NYD and I'm planning on getting a job, building a PC and buying a car by the end of the year.

All you need is dedication and someone telling you to keep going, that's probably the hardest part of any Gym related working out. -PB
