Boss paid us a day early meaning it got caught up in the mess, but i didn't know she was so i didn't expect pay til Saturday as normal which is when i got it anyway so, essentially i got a bonus for no reason.

WFMB: A group of friends and i tend to practical joke, scam, embarrass etc each other, been doing it for 20 years.
I thought id play the long game, a while ago i was on here complaining about there being no subtle football brands around. Anyhow i thought i should just do my own for a laugh, then i thought i wonder if i can get one of these idiots to buy it. So i found a dropshipping site, i made some designs (i don't know how to do this stuff and am not artistic). Then i created an instagram site and got a very small following, deliberately not targeting my geographical area and then after 2 months i started targeting geelong then got a mate to start talking about it... subtly.
BAM today one of those guys ordered! I didn't think it would happen it's pretty funny. Needed to tell someone but can't until i see this guy wearing it!
Sounds like i have alot of time on my hands, but it was like 5 min here and there.
And bonus is, i have some custom stuff for myself and ive had 3 other people order over that time! The whole sting cost me $10 for a domain name, plus i made approx $40 in commission.
My life is very uneventful.

It would be pretty good to do, but i don't have much of an artistic side, I've had some small ideas and had to watch alot of videos to figure it all out. There's alot of stuff youd have to change. The social media side, id have to start again, the instagram is a complete mess because i had no content. I think it all comes down to money, dropshipping is cool but it would be better to have stock in your hands. A mate of mine who is a graphic artist who has worked internationally and is head designer of a very large company has just started an eco friendly clothing company, he's done months of homework in regards to all aspects of running this kind of business and has all the people to do the stuff he can't do. He's my major competition now. Haha This is mine, have a laugh it's terrible. www.lussandlineal.com

Got to admit, seems to be quite entertaining for a futile act which won't make one iota of a difference. This is just going to galvanize pro Trump support even more. Can we thank her profusely?

+xWFMB- This takedown of Friendlyjordies. Imagine being so salty about the election that you seriously believe the PM has a worse moral compass than a cold-blooded serial killer... Watched the first 44 seconds of that and there were 2 outright lies so I'll be fucked if I watch the rest of that dross. One, the greens are not opposed to preventative burning. It's all spelt out clearly on their website that they're not and two, the bushfires, in intensity, duration and the fact they started 2 months before what was the beginning of the bush fire season only a decade ago are unprecedented so that's a fuck-off lie too. (And BTW I have no time for this Jordie flog either.) This Beetoota article is gold. https://www.betootaadvocate.com/uncategorized/party-thats-been-in-power-for-17-of-the-last-23-years-frustrated-with-greens-fire-policy/It's weird when satire is actually more accurate than the news. https://greens.org.au/bushfireshttps://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2019/nov/12/is-there-really-a-green-conspiracy-to-stop-bushfire-hazard-reductionAnd; Record temperatures in Adelaide, Perth and Melbourne. 40 plus days in November. https://www.news.com.au/technology/environment/melbourne-temperatures-set-to-soar-towards-40c-as-cold-front-slows/news-story/560be06a3ca2aa40a0ff49f27b3476e8https://www.abc.net.au/news/2019-12-03/perth-hot-weather-smashes-december-heat-record/11762656So yeah, nothing to see here.

Thing is, literally the only change could be that the Gillard/ Rudd governments' carbon tax was never overturned and the present fire/ weather situation would look exactly the same. The biggest difference would be the arguments some people would be making or avoiding altogether. Re. Betoota, their articles about Extinction Rebellion took on a strangely personal and defensive tone (accusations that the protestors are unemployed) and (for a satirical outlet that's normally on the pulse when it comes to political gaffes), they were unusually silent about that nutjob at the Greens event who talked about the firies going home to beat their wives. Considering B.A take cash for comment, it does make you wonder who they might've received donations from in more recent times...

It probably would look the same (though we can't be sure), the frustration is that the present government has virtually no plans to reduce carbon emissions (the ones they have are grossly inadequate). A decent, credible and responsible government wouldn't deny that climate change is causing these events to become bigger and more regular. They'd be able to say something like "climate change is causing this situation and it's going to get worse but we are doing a, b, c to help get our emissions down to zero".

See my signature. That should be our a, b, c and d. I don't see any sense in the popular "go renewables" path if we're talking solar panels for everybody and wind farms everywhere. Not only do they have a limited life-span (20-25 years) but to roll out that technology on that scale would ironically require a shitload more mining for the raw minerals, which of course means more emissions from the earth moving equipment, trucks and locomotives needed to mine the raw materials, transport it to the manufacturing plants and then transport it from there to wherever it needs to be set up.

I've been told by employees at a leading German energy company that solar panels require more energy to be made than what they'll produce in their lifetime. They focus mainly on windfarms but are very frustrated by the number of drawbacks they have. It's a pipe dream that all energy sources will be objectively lined up and compared. Those campaigning for green energy refuse to admit any flaws while those who want the older and evidently dirtier ones refuse to see any of its flaws.
