I've never seen a 15 year old like that before so it will be interesting to see him come up and if he really is that good. Want to start doing this with young regens. You can pick up good kids out of the Bundesliga for 1 - 3 million who are better mate....

Odd question, but has anybody had any luck (or heard of anybody having luck) with switching it so they can play A-League clubs without a salary cap and with promotion/relegation in place?
I managed it by switching Australian and Turkish leagues a few years back, but I ran into a hitch when it got to the Turkish Cup competition. Always wanted to play an A-League game with a bit more freedom.

I think mack's doing that right now? It's possible to swap the teams around, but it's extremely hard work, because you have to be so meticulous. Miss one team and you're fucked.

I've been told it's pretty hard to do in Fm09. I haven't done it myself.
I can suggest maybe swapping teams into the Singapore league and seeing if that works.
I'll have a look in the editor and see if anything can be done.

Yeah it can be done just very tricky - I dont think you can change how many teams are in the league so if you were to swap the A - League with the Singapore league you would need to add in the new sides to make up the numbers - you would have to change the league so its an australian league also - I tried doing it a few months back but just really CBF. If you screw it up somewhere you dont really know until you have loaded and started playing the game either... Good luck with it - let us know how you go.

You, I spent the better part of a week switching Australian clubs into Turkey last year. Had three tiers and it all looked good, but it froze up when the cup competition kicked in.

That would be because teams not in the leagues would have been seeded in the cup. See if there's a database floating around somewhere on the net. Failing that, you'd have to do it all yourself, by hand, which will take around two days of meticulous work. What you have to do is move all the teams from each country's league to another. Then change the nationality of the league (so you've got homegrown players for continental competitions), then you have to remember to do the same thing with the cup, make sure all the seedings etc are set up correctly. Then you've got to double-check and make sure you haven't missed any teams.

Wow that guy is heaps good, Funky. I've noticed that Manchester United have A LOT of good young players coming through and in my last games when i ge tot about 2018, the players in mancs youth, are all massive stars and really good. Most of them aren't as good as that though funky but not far from it.

They need to be as good as that or BETTER for them to become top-notch players though.

TBH I had a guy in my last game with fulham who came through the youth ranks and his stats weren't as good as that when he was 17, far from it. BUT he wasn't labelled as a wonderkid but at 21 had got 4 caps for england and 5 goals and got player of the EPL one year...lol he'd played nearly 200 games for me/previous manager when he was 22

TBH I signed a RM regen from the A-League who's key attributes were almost as good. Maybe I'm just under-estimating Melbourne Victory's youth development :-k edit:@ s_f, Probably a late developer, the 'wonderkid' tag usually falls off by the age of 20-21. Yeah, the game doesn't distinguish between quality of leagues when distributing regens. You should see some of the players I've found in the A-League. There's plenty of quality out there if you look for it.

Just had one of 'those' games. Traveling to St.James Park, We're unbeaten so far, and we want to keep it that way. Newcastle are one of the few teams I'm worried could stop us. We take the lead after 3 minutes, thanks to my Mexican Stevie G, with a stunner from 35 yards. They hit back twice within half an hour, but my left winger levels it up just before half time. 2-2. My 20 year old striker is having a shocker, and I tell him as much. Second half, starts off tight, and then with 20 minutes to go, said striker places a shot into the top corner. We hung on for dear life, but with just 2 minutes to go, their striker completes his hat trick, and levels it at 3-3. From the kick off, The ball's lobbed down the right wing, for my winger to run on to, his cross then meets the unmarked 20yo striker, who heads it home. Literally punched the air, was so stoked. We hung on for the final 4 minutes of injury time, a fucking priceless win. Fucking Epic Match. This is why I play FM.

Awesome start to the new season. After 16 games in the EPL, we've won 12, Drawn 3 and lost 1. We're 5 points clear of 2nd, and 11 points clear of 3rd. We finished on top of our ECL group as well, unbeaten, 5 wins, 1 draw. This is going to be our season.

Anyone got suggestions for which league to transfer the A-League + Australian clubs into? I've tried it without success in the past with Turkey and today Indonesia. Singapore (as suggested) was no good as they don't have more than the one league active in the game.
Any ideas?

There's technically no promotion/relegation employed in Korea, unfortunately.
