No, you can't play sides from different save games up against eachother. What we'd have to do is set up a server on a computer that had FM and have that person create the game, then have everyone who was interested join that game in the 'network' option in their FM game. The alternative is to convince everyone to buy FM Live and create an online league, and I for one am not doing that.

Me and Avy tried to do it once but it screwed up I think because of the fact I was on a mac and you had to download this program to make the server or something and it screwed up sort of on mine. Would be cool if we did it though.
At January in 2009 I've already won 3 trophies lol. Charity shield, euro super cup and club world championship. Granted they're not very prestigious...Got knocked out of the league cup by liverpool after thrashing them in the game before in the premiership 3-1. Tying with Arsenal at the top of the table but i've got two more games to play. Think I might sell berba. I'm only playing one striker with 2 wide attacking mids and he doesn;t fit the lone striker role like rooney and tevez do. I'll use the money to buy another centre mid or right defender.

Damn straight I'm awesome. Quote:We can still do it. It could of worked...but i'm 97% sure it was because i was on a mac and it was a altered version i had to download. Was it you or Avy attempting to host the game? Because it has to be hosted on a PC for reasons known only to apple technicians. I'm up for it, but we'd have to set up specific times, say wednesday night from 8pm where everyone had to be online to play through say, a month or some specific duration of time.

Which is a pain, because apple's are set up in a way that would be far superior to PC for this kind of thing (the online networking for a text-based game)

OK. Shotgun melbourne victory. We need another 8 players. We will be playing on FM09 so that rules Guest out. And who's going to host it? Does Funky or Mack have a good enough computer? Because I don't.

I'll Take the Phoenix. As for hosting, I could give it a try, Mine might be able to handle it. Does anyone know if there's any specs for it?

I don't mean to be rude...well, actually, I do so fuck that shit. You don't even turn up for FFT FC stuff when you're in the team and you're only online maybe once a month. So we're going to resist the temptation to have you in the game, thanks anyway.

Well then i'm having second thoughts about being Sydney, seeing as how crap they are. Mack can be them if he wants, he's a better manager than me. I'll go Perth then.

Quote:Mine might be able to handle it. Does anyone know if there's any specs for it? Standard sys specs: Windows XP or better, 1.4GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 2GB free HDD space and the video isn't going to matter. If EVERYONE could have those specs, that would make the game run a lot smoother.

Mine is connected to Steam so it is up to date as far as I know. Edited by marconi101: 7/7/2009 05:06:24 PM

You don't have to have all the teams filled, but you DO have to be running the same patch version, so everyone is going to need to update to 9.0.3...which I haven't done #-o Quote:Mine is connected to Steam so it is up to date as far as I know. Steam installs the first update, but doesn't do anything after that.
