If you'd read my post just above yours, all I want for now is interest. Once I know enough people are interested, I'll set up a post detailing how to sign up, how to set your attributes and etc.
As for the league, I'm thinking the English leagues. Everyone knows the teams, we can play in the ECL, the league is big enough that none of you will want to leave the club:p (though I plan on making everyone as loyal as possible, so that we stay as a team.) Either the Championship or League 1 sounds best IMO.

What i meant specifically was whether we would be competing in the EPL or championship or starting at the bottom or what. I say we start in the EPL, because we can always go down then...
What's the plan for the hidden attributes like Potential and current ability, Injury prone-ness and chairman ambition. How wealthy is the club going to be?? How big is the stadium?? And who are our main rivals??

CentroCampista - FM is a manger career, you have no direct control over the players.
There's a thread where you can sign up for the FM thing too...

Not much to say about this season. Really improved in the league, just lost too many games to be really in the hunt, not even a 2-1 win against Real Madrid in the closing stages helped too much, and we finished needing both Real and Barca to drop points, but ended up losing the last few games anyway.
Had a bad draw in the Spanish Cup and went out early. Nigera wanted me to become manager, and I re-signed with 2 months left on my own contract. Champions league was a high spot, unbeaten through the entire run, but we followed a 4-4 draw at home with a 3-3 draw away, despite 35 minutes or so battering the Manchester United goal at 3-3 trying to equalise on away goals (or even win it outright), losing on Away goals.
Transfer wise, brought in mostly youth, but did secure Miguel Veloso. Will require a new striker, either one brought up from the youth ranks of those I have purchased, or a new player, I have been chasing Tevez whose contract at United is running down, but no such luck thus far.
Spanish First Division - 3rd - 81 Points, Real 1st 89, Barcelona 2nd 88. 4th Sevilla 68. Spanish Cup - 5th Round, Lost 3-5 Agg to Sevilla Champions League Group Stage - Qualified 1st (14 Points, 4 wins, 2 Draw). Champions League KO Stages - 1st KO defeated Porto 4-1 agg, Quarter lost 7-7 on Away goals to Manchester United.
Me - Manager of the Year 3rd Villa - World Player of the Year, World Footballer of the Year, World Striker of the Year, Top Goal Scorer (35), Spanish Top Goalscorer, Best Costume Spanish First Division Fancy Dress Party, Team of the Year, Champions League Golden Boot 2nd, Champions League Best Player, Champions League Dream Team Lloris - Spanish 1st Team of the Year Silva - Spanish 1st Team of the Year Albiol - Spanish 1st Team of the Year Always the highlight of the career.

I'm going to do an update after I finish work and get back home. Off the top of my head, I brought in a new right and left wing back to replace the 2nd choice DR and DL (as they were older, and more straight defenders than the evra-style wing backs I need for this tactic), looked for another striker, ended up with Walcott on loan (who is surprisgnly poor statwise atm.) as the 2 guys I wanted were priced out of my league.
And we moved into our new 75k stadium \:d/

Actually, I've always wondered why he isn't a youth coach rater than manager.

Valencia: Start of Season 3 Transfer Window Closure 2009/102 First Division games into the new season, we remain unbeaten, including easily qualifying for the Champions League group stage with a 6-2 Agg win vs Saint-Etienne, and 2-0 victories over Mallorca and Recreativo. Champions League action starts very soon, with our first game against Everton (who won the Premier League last season) in about 2 weeks, followed by Olympique Lyon and Dinamo Kiev after. I'm hoping our match vs Real Madrid will pack the new stadium in, hoping for a huge crowd for that one. In World transfer news, Inter, AC Milan and United made the big headlines, Inter with a massive 51 million purchase of Nani (this is in GBP btw), AC Milan buying Reina and Alves for 27m and 31m respectivaely, with United spending 24.5 and 21.5 on Aleksanar Kolarov and Giles Barnes. Valencia TransfersI raided Arsenal pretty effectively in this window. The main goals of this window were to remove and replace my existing defensive flankers, most of which were very much in an old style "Defender" model, rather than the attacking wing-backs that give my tactic alot of width and forward momentum. Players OutMarco Caneria, 30yo DRLC - (Sampdoria), 2m Hugo Viana, 26yo MC - (Bolonga), 2.2m Emiliano Moretti, 28yo DLC WBL - (Napoli), 1m Jaime Gavilan, 26yo AML - (Zaragoza), 4.6m Players InEmmanuel Eboue, 26yo D/WB/M R - (Arsenal), 13.25m Steven Smith, 24yo D/WB L - (Rangers), 3.9m + 5% On Sale Fee Theo Walcott, AMR/FC - (Arsenal), Loan Henri Lansbury, AMRC - (Arsenal), 18m GK Lloris, Ludovic, Ahmetovic DR Eboue, Behrami DL Traore, Smith (who had a very bad start, came on for 2 minutes, did his ankle out for a month) DC Albiol, Breno, Alexis Delgado MC Veloso, Manuel Fernandes, Banega AMR Arfa, Arzimendi, Henri AML Vicente, Mata (is cross-trained as a striker, and quite a good one as well) AMC Silva, Kroos ST Villa, Mata, Etock/Walcott Tactic Usedhttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v369/davidbowieWAU/tactic.jpgEdited by macktheknife: 6/10/2008 08:17:00 PMEdited by macktheknife: 6/10/2008 08:22:30 PM
