God damnit these boys like to get injured. At the worst times as well. I loan out De Vere and straight away 3 CB's get injured in the space of 2 weeks. WTF

Having the same problem. Had 8 players out at one time, including 6 who are usually in my XI. So bad.

I'd want more than 7m for him, he's bene key in my pre-season.

Drew my season opener against NAC but bounced back a week later to win 3-1 over Heerenveen with a brace from Ruiz. Unconvincing start to the campaign but could have been worse. Jonatas has been superb so far.

I've never seen so many injuries in such a short space of time. It's crazy.

Just had another bad spell with missing players... Parker, Nouioui and Annan were away at the ACoN (something YOU lot don't have to deal with :P) and I had Douglas, Brama, Verbeek and Dentinho all injured. 7 of my XI. Ridiculous.

Still managed to get some good results and stay 6 points clear at top of the league. Have a home tie v Heerenveen in the Dutch Cup semi which is nice.. other tie is Feyenoord v Utrecht.

Signed a few players in Jan:

Belhanda - 7mil. The big one. Direct replacement for Ruiz. Has been great, avg rating of 8.38 so far.
Marlos - Very good AMRLC, and at 550k well worth it.
Deleu - 10k. Defensive cover
Stoch on loan
Bruma on loan
Acuna on loan
IBRA on loan (not Zlatan)

And sold:
Janko 400k. Was absolutely useless
Ruiz - 7mil
Javadov - 3.5mil
Bajrami - 3mil

Had a chuckle when I noticed that. Just started Feb.

Ruiz just asked for a transfer. Should be able to get about 7m for him in January and bring in Jo to replace him.

I decided I needed another midfielder and bought in Toro on a free transfer so there's another brazilian midfielder arriving. Hopeffully I can find another player or two to bring in before the end of August on free transfers but I don't like my chances.

So I tried to sign this Brazilian defender on a free. He demands 6k/week, which I'm not willing to pay for him, he rejects a 2k/week contract and then goes on to sign for some no-name greek side for 625/week. wtf?

The shit thing is I brought in a heap of physios and good ones at that and they still drop like flies.

Made it all the way to the Playoff final and then lost 2-1 to Tranmere. Shattering result. Boards given me a one year contract, and I've told them I'll win the league. Had to do it, was the only way to get any money in the wage budget. Managed to build a decent sized squad now. Gonna have to win the league though. Anything less and I'll be fired.

de Jong has been quite a liability for me despite his goal scoring. He has played 21 games scored 14 goals but got sent off 7 times, each time before the 30 minutes had been played.
The number of injuries is rediculous. One game I used my final substitute in about the 80th minute and finished the game with 8 men due to injuries. The injuries seem to focus around certain areas of the team at time for me. I have been playing with youth team players at centre back having all 10 of my 1st team and reserve team centre backs out. Earlier I lost most of my midfielders to injury.

Interesting. I didn't have that much trouble with injuries, no where near as bad as some of your guys.
I had Ruiz, Diba and Kuiper pick up long term injures but never really struggled to field a normal lineup.

Starting well enough but have seemed to drop off, have changed formations so will see how we go

Alright, end of season wrap up (yes i know, I've been playing non-stop for the past 3 days)

Eredivise:
Had a horrible first half of the season, jeopardizing any title hopes for Twente. (I'm going to put it down to being rusty on FM, haven't touched it in a while)

By December I was in 14th spot on the ladder :oops: but I made a few signings to strengthen the squad in the window to recover to 8th spot.

FC Twente: 34 games, 13w 12d 9l.
Most drawn games in the league, absolutely killed me.

As you may or may not know, 5th-8th playoff for the last Dutch European spot. I beat Feyernood in the first playoff and cruised past Vitesse in the playoff final.

So next year Twente is still a chance for Europe :d

Made it to the Semi, got done away from home by Ajax on penalties.

Anderlecht beat Madrid away in the first game, so I knew I was going to be in a bit of trouble.

There's too many staff there. Why are there 6 physios there and the board only says I can have 2? I decided I'm going to wait and see how the season pans out and deal with coaches and back-room staff in the summer.

I've changed my formation since picking up another midfielder and I'm now playing more 4-3-3

That is about how well I did in the first season.
I've made to January in the second season. I got knocked out of the Europa Cup after finishing with an inferior goal difference to Koln and Rangers. I am equal second with PSV, six points behind Ajax. My defence is pretty awful seem to concede at least once every game.
I just sold Leckie for 5m to Porto. A good 4.6m profit for having him in the team for a year.
I also sold Ruiz to Seville for an initial amount of 10.5m plus 3m over the next 2 years and 4m when he scores 20 goals.

That's a great deal for Ruiz. Hopefully I can get close to 10m for him but I don't think so unless City come calling.

I initially offered him to sell at 9m and got around 15 clubs wanting him around that price. The bigger clubs didn't want to go over 7.5m but some of the smaller clubs offered huge amounts. Wolverhampton offered a combined amount of 18m but Ruiz rejected their contract in favour of Seville.

Just beat Leverkusen 2-0 in the home leg of my knockout tie against them \:d/. Belhanda has been superb so far, and he got one of the goals. Just gotta park the bus in the second leg and hope to scrape through.

8 points clear in the league from Ajax in 2nd. 13 games unbeaten and 7 straight wins, including 6 clean sheets. Rensing has been fantastic.

This fills me with confidence that I can get a decent deal for him. I had trouble cashing in on Douglas, but picking up Rafael Toloi for 6m as his replacement has been fucking superb.

I'm having a serious problem with accuracy.

So this season I've had 89 shots at goal and had just 28 of those on target for just 32% accuracy. It's killing me.

I'd say your main problem is Janko is your main striker. He was absolutely pants for me.

Yeah, Lot of shots, most of them in the box. Just I think the whole team seriously lacks composure. I want to play Ruiz up front but then I don't have a winger who's up to standard.

I just realised that I accidently loaded in the FFT FC data edit...I could have signed a heap of talent real cheap :P

I think in the interests of fairness I'll avoid signing them :P

Finally got my FM to work again. St.gallen in the swiss super league. Cbf going to lower league clubs anymore.

He is bloody horrendous

This perplexes me, he's third in the Eredivisie golden boot right now. I'm definitely going shopping for a new striker in January. I'm thinking I might be able to pick up Jo on the cheap.

Even though ive been playing FM since 08 what is the norm for you guys in regards to the amount a leagues, i used to do about 20 leagues but now with my W'vista computer and crap processor ive dropped to about 10 leagues and what is your computer performance and speed when on FM?

Mine only usually runs at 2 stars for speed and I've got a 5-star spec computer according to the game. I usually have about 35 leagues from 18 or so countries
