Keeper reverted to type in the next match, which of course, resulted in a goal for the oppo in a 3-2 loss. I've also noticed that my players completely ignore my throw in instructions too. Handy.

Lukaku's just gone fucking crazy. In all competitions including internationals he's got 40 goals in 40 apps. In the league he's got 25 goals in 23 apps and in all club competitions he's got 33 goals in 35 apps.

It's been giving me the shits all season  It's not so bad if you've got a keeper ranked 18+ for kicking and a midfielder who's good on the head. Quote:Lukaku's just gone fucking crazy. I like the looks of this. I've bought him in and he scored 7 from 14 last season from January on. Hoping he can bag a few this season. Currently got Van Nistelrooy trialling as an extra striker. Considering letting Janko go but I don't know who I'd have in to replace him. I like the look of Jonas at Gremio, but they want a lot for him...I'm wondering if I could make an audacious move for Huntelaar. Signed Carlos Diogo as a RB replacement because Dwight Tiendalli wanted a huge payrise.

Finished the second season with Porto. I won the league again and got to the semifinal of the Champions League. We beat Lyon and Dortmund on the way to the semi's by destroying them at home 4-0 and 5-0 in the second league after losing away 1-0 in the first leg of the ties. In the semifinal I only won the home league 1-0 after having a frustrating 35 shots with 5 on target to none. We dominated the first half of the away league but had Michael Bradley sent off straight after half time who was closely followed by Abidal 10 minutes later and we ended up losing 2-0. Now its off to the World Cup with Uruguay and then to Atletico Madrid to lift them from the bottom half of the table.

I reported that fucking bug to SI: http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php/260274-11.3-Goalkeeper-ignoring-instructions-for-goal-kicks-creates-CCC-s-for-opponent.I use a tactic now which has defender collect and short passing and it happens a lot less. Real Madrid got a CB I wanted :( I offered more cash but he went to be a Galacticos. In other news, I added some staff. I simply didn't have anyone with good Man Management. Or anyone to motivate all the players by being in all the training categories. The way training works suggests that you combine the best qualities of all the staff in a training category, without making their inadequacies carry over. I had a staff made up of specialist category coaches, who took all training on both the youth and reserves. But no-one reducing workload or motivating and disciplining in areas where the specialists had not great discipline. Not optimum. Since I had some spare coaching slots I went and hired: A first team motivator, with 16 discipline, 12 determination and 18 motivation. A man manager, with 17 for motivation, 16 mental and 19 man management. A motivator who works with both first and youth, 18 man management, 19 motivation. A youth team motivator, 16 motivation, 10 discipline, and 16 working with youth. All of these staff get put on all the training schedules. The specialists still do the same quality of coaching, but the motivators and disciplinarians and the man manager makes the training more effective. I also signed a youth coach, who has 16 tactical knowledge and 20 tactical coaching. I'm not 100% sure if it'll work out any better than I already have, as my assistant already has 15 tactical knowledge and 15 tactical coaching, but I've got the spare spot, and it's pretty cheap. I sacked one of my physios, they all had 20 for physiotherapy but didn't have great mental stats. So I hired a Physio who only had 18 for physio, but had 17 for determination, 16 for working with youth, 14 for fitness, 17 for discipline and 17 for determination. A Head Physio type.

Just had hands down the craziest motherfucking Champions League Quarter Final I have ever seen. Playing against Inter away just fell apart and lost 7-2. Decided to just fuck it and go 5 upfront. Basically was playing 3-2-5. Scored 2 in the first 4 minutes and started thinking maybe this is possible. Inter Brought it back to 2-2 with 2 goals on the break. Went to HT 2-2. Then came out and scored 3 mins into the 2nd half and then Inter scored again 4 mins later to make it 3-2. Then scored 3 goals in 5 mins to make it 6-3. Hit the post twice and Inter missed a penalty and an open goal to leave it at 6-3 on the night and 10-8 on Aggregate. Gutted to not make it but just in shock  Just fucking mental.

That's an epic game. You're lucky they weren't hitting you on the counter very effectively.
Second season with FC Twente, I've knocked off Ajax in the Dutch Super Cup 2-0.
Players in: Willem Jannsen - Roda JC. Matias Schelotto - Atalanta. Genaro Snijders - Vitese. Randall Azofeifa - AA Gent. Carlos Diogo - Zaragoza. Ruud Van Nistelrooy(!) - Hamburg. Correa - Flamengo. Total: FUCKING NOTHING!!!!! - I haven't spent a cent on transfers.
Out: Wisgerhof - Luzern, 300k Tiendalli - PSV, free Diba - Wolves, free. Bengtsson - Bologna, 1.7m Bruggink - Almeria, 350k de Vogt - West Brom, free. Total: 2.3m
I've got a great squad coming together, but it's kind of big and unfortunately I've got a serious luck of Dutch talent around.

I was shocked that they didn't just slaughter me on the break in the last like 20 mins when I had 5 forwards plus 2 AMC so no midfield at all, 1 CB and 2 WB

 That's just ridiculous! I worry that pushing my wingers up to play as inside forwards is too attacking :P

 I'd just got it back to 10-8 so would do whatever it took to try and get another couple of goals, just a shame you can only put 5 forwards. It is pretty funny just seeing a wall of players rush forward with every attack

Ok, so here's a doozey of a fuck up for you. Rafael Toloi mistimes his tackle, and ends up injured laying sprawled in the box where he's given away a penalty. The commentary goes: "Looks like Toloi could be in trouble here He's already been booked The referee is calling him over RED CARD AZOFEIFA!"
Did I miss something there?

I assume that's a striker? Handy advanced forward with that kind of crossing.

Yeah forgot to mention he's a striker
Will probably send him out on loan for a year and see how he goes.

At that age, with that skill level, he'd be a part of my first team plans. How did he not stay at United?

I'd be training him as a Left Winger, playing him at AML and reaping the rewards.

His long shots needs to be a bit better, but he'd be perfect as an Inside Forward IMO.

I'd be playing him as an advanced forward next to your target man.

He could play there too, easy. I just think it'd be a waste of his talents to not utilise both his crossing, pace and finishing at the same time.

I got knocked out of Europa League and the FA Cup in the same week.
Shit 2-1 loss to Derby in the cup (their keeper won MoTM), and 5-2 on agg against Fulham (1-1 first leg, 4-1 away, my AMC got injured10 seconds after I used my last sub, and we got caught out twice late).

His crossing, pace and finishing would all be utilised as an advanced forward. You can't play a guy who has 13 passing and 9 long shots as an inside forward.
