I love playing 4-2-2-2 with two DMs and wingers. Worked so well for me in multiple saves. But requires certain types of players.

Form definitely improving at Celtic... Went 10 hours without conceding a goal, which was epic. Vilar has been a great signing between the sticks, and Moras on a free at CB has been superb.... Four of my top 5 average ratings is my back four, they've been immense. Mulgrew highest avg rat in SPL too.

Won manager of the month which was nice. 3-0, 3-0, 4-1 the last 3 in the league.

He's got one cap in my save :lol:

On one hell of a run with Spurs now! Adebayor on fire, has scored 12 goals in 12 League games so far, and my last loss was 2 months ago. I have Fernando Llorente coming in on January 1st to add some firepower and also trying to persuade Tevez to take a pay cut, if he wont, ill just sign Adebayor full time.

I think i found out why this is happening, i noticed the registration rules are different now so those young players need to have been at the club for 2 years before they can qualify as player that doesnt need to be registered.

I had another weird thing happen... 4 games into the EPL season, Wenger stepped down from the Arsenal job. They were top of the table too :lol:

Got a very good 2-2 draw away to PSG in my first Europa game... sadly followed by a 1-0 loss to Rangers... 87th min goal too. And I had 57%, about twice as many shots... annoying.

Followed by a comfortable 2-0 win v Livingston in the cup. Played all the ressies pretty much.

Signed Macheda on a loan, Marazzi for 500k and Materazzi for free. Lost track of time in the pre-season. Desperatly need a keeper on a free transfer or below 1 million, suggestions. Zaluska is fucking awful. Lost 2-1 to Hibs thanks to him.

i will probably buy fm but just playing my FM10 aufc season now and dominating beat CCM
3-0 was the greatest day of my life considering it was CCM and they are beast on fm10 on top atm :)

Three games into my Europa group... 2-2 with PSG, 2-0 win v Genk and 2-1 win v Rapid. Very happy.

In 3rd in the league, not great but not too disappointed with the team. Finishing is the problem, 20 shots, 7 on target, these figures are very common. And it's not even long shots. I dunno what it is.

This, I've never had Shaquiri come good. Has always been nothing more than average.

His PA is ~130-140. ie. Championship level.

Probably ~17-20 in nhub's game actually... ;)

In charge of Atletico Madrid. Barca are top with 22 wins and 2 losses scoring 92 in the process while conceding just 10. A side which can boast the likes of Villa who has scored 34 goals in 19 league appearances this season and Messi who has 29 in 23. We go and beat them 4-1 \:d/ :cool:

That's an obscene scoring record for Barca.

I know, it's disgustingly, ridiculously insane :lol: They've now got 105 in 27. This sort of thing has happened with Barcelona in all my other FM12 saves so far though. Anyone else noticing this?

They scored 112 in my first season.
84 in the second.

:shock: Everton are top of the EPL in my save. 15 games in.

Beat Rangers 2-1 at Ibrox in the League Cup quarter. Deserved win too, but still some serious fucking finishing issues. I had 17 shots and only 3 on target in that game. And they aren't long shots (only 5 were). So what the fuck is it?!?!?!

Same again. 0-0 draw away to Rapid. Got a red in the 4th minute too. I had 3 CCC, 9 shots.... 1 on target. FML

Find a striker with better finishing.

But even then... those figures are just horrendous.

I expect my team tohave between 40 and 50% accuracy most days. If they can't do that then generally I'm annoyed. Obviously you need players with better finishing and composure.

My Leicester City side is taking shape for our return to the EPL. Signed a lot of players on Free Transfers, and still have £20m in the bank should I need it to strengthen in January.

Need to strengthen at CM, currently have Michael Johnson and Jacob Mellis on trial throughout pre-season and Fabian Delph is available for transfer also.

Had a very tough start to the season with Sevilla, facing up against Valencia, Atletico, Barca for my first three games with Fiorentina (ECL), Barca and Villareal being scheduled inside a week.

Having mixed results so far, my defence is very patchy and prone to ridiculous lapses in concentration, e.g I was three goals up against Villareal with 20 left to play and we conceded twice from horrendus marking to set up a nervy end.

Positive is that my midfield and attack are starting to gel, I've dropped Fabiano who has been useless and replaced him with Negredo as a poacher and that has reaped five goals in five appearances. Only just got Navas back from injury and he is tearing it up, whilst Di Maria is amongst the best wingers in Europe at the moment.

Sitting fifth after six games thus far and the team is gradually getting better

Beat Genk 2-0 to qualify out of Europa group. Drew Sevilla in first KO... tough draw. Will do my best but I doubt it.

First in the league now too.

Barcelona went on to win the league with 101 points. Won 33, Drawn 2, Lost 3. Scored 144, conceded 23. Villa with 59 goals in 42 appearances in all competitions. Messi didn't have a bad season either with 47 in 46.

:shock: :shock: :shock: What a team. To think we beat them 4-1! :lol: \:d/ :cool:

As for Atletico and I, we had a great season. Finished 3rd with 81 points beating Bilbao to automatic UCL group stage qualification on goal difference. Started the season well but suffered a really, really poor run of results over late September and October, but recovered emphatically.

Won the cup with a 1-0 win over Real Sociedad in the final as well as the Europa League beating PSG by the same scoreline.

Stand-outs for the season included Reyes who was my top scorer with 17 goals in 56 appearances in all competitions and Adrian who really stepped up in the first half of the season while Falcao went through a barren patch after falling out with me (thankfully he put that behind and played well in the second half of the season). But Adrian was struck down by injury in January and by the time he fully recovered it was May. He was crucial to my success though with 12 goals in 16 league appearances. Probably my best player though was Aritz Adruiz who I signed for 7.5 mill in January to replace Adrian. Adruiz went on to score 13 in 17 league matches including 5 in a 5-4 win over Espanyol.

There were some memorable matches through out the season including the aforementioned wins over Barca 4-1 and Espanyol 5-4, as well as a 6-4 victory over Getafe and a 4-0 drubbing of Real Madrid.

All in all, a fantastic first season. Hoping to sign Tevez over the summer whose wage demands I couldn't bow down to in January.

You might find that his agent isn't too impressed with you after January.

Mulgrew just had the game of his life. All four assists. All from open play too, terrific stuff.
