This is from the second Greek newspaper of Sydney and the largest in Australia

It basically talks about the racist remarks the Ultras got from Sutherland supporters, the atmosphere we brought to a game, an exert from an Olympic supporter claiming that we were abusing Sutherland players all game, and saying how Stavroulakis ran to the supporters after the match provoking troubles and issues between O.U and himself.

They should have, but Penrith folded thus securing there survival.

Interesting times for Olympic Ultras, lets see if we get banned or not.

This is from todays Greek newspaper the Kosmos, and Stavroulakis (player for Sutherland), his father who works for the Greek Newspaper wrote in his Sports Column that the O.U are savages, a disgrace to Olympic and said twice that we should all be banned from future Olympic games.

He's talking about places like WIN Stadiun, ANZ, SCG, SFS and all those. Not these small community stadiums and grounds.

You're right Heineken, but if you ever go down there, they have a great half time program to get children involved and etc.

Shame they don't have the team they had back in the old NSL. Their season last year was downright embarrassing, only i think 2 wins, and had around 70 goals put past them, if it hadnt been for Penrith folding, they would have been relegated.

I was at the Bonnyrigg white Eagles v South coast Wolves nice win by bonnyrigg Goals 2 by Severino and 1 by Zonjic and i must say a nice crowed down there both home and away supporters some where between 500 to 800 spectators just estimating. And out of all the games i have been to this year the South Coast Club have the best match day books available for the spectators.

Blacktowns loss is defiantly one of the biggest upsets so far this season.

1 Marconi Stallions FC 12 9 2 1 16 9 +7 29
2 Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC 12 7 4 1 24 12 +12 25
3 Sydney United FC 12 7 3 2 25 11 +14 24
4 Blacktown City Demons FC 12 7 3 2 21 13 +8 24
5 Sutherland Sharks FC 12 5 2 5 17 14 +3 17
6 APIA Tigers 12 5 1 6 18 23 −5 16
7 Rockdale City Suns FC 12 3 6 3 13 15 −2 15
8 Bankstown City Lions FC 12 3 2 7 19 24 −5 11
9 Sydney Olympic FC 12 3 1 8 18 24 −6 10
10 West Sydney Berries FC 12 2 4 6 10 21 −11 10
11 Manly United FC 12 2 3 7 12 19 −7 9
12 South Coast Wolves FC 12 2 3 7 14 22 −8 9

Movers & Shakers of the round.

Blacktown slip from 2nd to 4th
Bonnyrigg move from 4th to 2nd

APIA Leichhardt move to within just 1 point of the top 5 - a massive resurgance in form after not having a win after 5 rounds.

South Coast wolves remain on the bottom of the ladder, and most likely to get relegated at the end of the season.

We're still waiting for Sydney Olympic's revoloution, has anyone got SOlympic's number, he should be able to tell us when it's coming.

Bankstown got off the bottom of the ladder and moved to 8th, after a shock win against Manly United who arn't looking very strong.

Arguably a slip up by Sydney United, a draw against Rockdale wont help them, although Rockdale had a couple of players back from Injury which would have helped them.

---

Marconi now hold a 4 point lead over 2nd place Bonnyrigg which is going to nearly cement their position at the top you'd think if they can remain like this for the next 3 or 4 weeks.

1 point just seperates pos 2-4, whilst 7 points seperates 4 and 5. I wouldn't expect the top 4 to slip up too much from here on i, i certainly can't see any of the 4 slipping below 4. Meanwhile 1 point seperates APIA Tigers and Sutherland sharks, the battle for 4th and 5th will be interesting.

At the foot of the ladder just 2 points seperates 8-12, so expect the race for the wooden spoon/relegation battle to get interesting.

Some shocks in this round i reckon.

Sutherland Sharks (2) def. Sydney Olympic (1)

Rockdale City Suns (1) drew. Sydney United (1)

Manly United (1) def. by Bankstown City Lions (2)

APIA Leichhardy (3) def. Blacktown City (2)

Canturbury Berries (1) def. by Marconi Stallions (2)

South Coast Wolves (1) def. by Bonnyrigg White Eagles (3)

---

Major Upsets:

Manly United going down to Bankstown at home - the bottom of the table clash, expecting Manly to win.

APIA Leichhardt continue their resurgance after a poor start to the season, suprise upset win against Blacktown @ Leichhardt oval (wish i had gone now :( ). Big slip up for Blacktown for the race for the title, slipping from 2nd to 4th.

I'll put up the table soon.
