-PB Yeah my housemates talked it up as the best thing since sliced bread and made me watch it but I couldn't stand it, I usually love Jonah Hill's work too.

I enjoyed how self aware it was, but definitely not enough to carry the whole film.

Actually liked it more than the first. Take out ice cube though and it's probably a pretty average comedy

Yeah I just couldn't get into it at all. I don't find movies funny where people are so "awkward" for like scenes on end. -PB

Im sick to death of these 1 in every 2 stories complaining about the fact Australia is a nation of downloaders
Its just free choice for consumerism for entertainment
Also, the concept of downloading can be questioned, because its an extension of the ease of watching someone, and someone else, instead of the discomfort of being watched
Case in point, if I uploaded a youtube clip of a home video, nobody would be interested, and Im not that keen to upload it for the masses to watch. And nobody would be that interested in watching it, not really, unless its got zombies, dragons or sexual content ... :-K

Guardians of the Galaxy was enjoyable. Feel like it relied on comedy. Love Michael Rooker though.

I don't know if it's justification or what, but when the same product is available elsewhere for a much lower price for absolutely no reason other than Aussies are being ripped off, then that's a fair gripe.

Semi relevant, but I think it's such bullshit that there are such significant price disparities between digital products in different regions, especially with things like video games.
Game x is available for $60 in America, but purchasing the exact same game here is $99.95. I understand that publishers set RRP and the digital cost here can't be lower than what is charged for physical copies but it's just irks me.
Applicable to movies here as well. Fuck the aussie tax

Fury. War scenes were great but plot holes so big you could drive a "tank" through them. And by "great" I mean thank fuck I've never been in a situation like that.

Interstellar was superb. Shame that both it and 'Gone girl' came out in the same year. Probably make up two of my top 5 movies ever.
