Edited by afromanGT: 6/6/2012 11:00:11 PM I think the idea was that he was supposed to be a Englishman relocated. Not so much the only Scandinavian with an English accent. I saw this and then saw (half) of the original adaptation and I much prefer the Daniel craig version. it was much more graphic and brutal and kept the story line moving at a better pace. you really didn't know what to expect.

I'm pretty sure his name was Mikael Blomkvist :P doesn't sound like an Englishman relocated to me.

Perhaps his parent raised him in Englad? boarding School? Either way, i liked it. Not buy it and watch it over and over but Liked it none the less.

It was implied that his family lived in England and that he was a relocated journalist working in Sweden.

Anybody seen the 2000 movie 'The Beach' with Leo diCaprio? Saw it a couple years back on TV one night, but only caught the last 20 minutes or so. Picked it up for $10 this afternoon with a couple other dvd's at JB HI-FI. Really trippy movie. Kinda fucked up, especially the second half of the movie, but it's entertaining for the most part. Virginie Ledoyen is one of the main characters, and PHWOAR! is she hot!
WOLLONGONG WOLVES FOR A-LEAGUE EXPANSION!

This could either be a huge failure or pretty good. I'm thinking the former, hoping the latter. The main pro for this film is it has Richard Ayoade from the IT Crowd in it.

The thing that pisses me off about Prometheus the most is due to nearly every critic in the world's response to it, it looks like Michael Fassbender will be robbed of so many awards. He was nothing short of exceptional in it.

Saw the Preview for that when I was at the movies last night watching The Dictator (I'll get to that). Ted looks awesome, wanna see it for sure.
Now, The Dictator - Was shit. There were a few funny moments for the most part it was just crap.
Also saw a trailer for 'Bait'. Australian film, looks like it could be the worst thing made this year. Just... ultimate facepalm at the concept.

Finally got around to watching Gangs of New York last night after searching for a copy of it for ages and it was well worth the wait. Daniel Day Lewis is nothing short of phenomenal and Leo and Scorsese have a great understanding, pitty he cast Cameron Diaz though.

"That my friends, is the minority vote" BOSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

I'd say the wallet was quite apt, he looks like one bad ass muthafucka.
Absolute head case though by the sounds of it.
