I like a blend of both creative attacking play, while making enough mistakes to make it interesting. That’s why I love the A League. Plenty of “lets have a go” with mistakes.

I’m afraid watching 2 perfect Barcelona “Fozzy” type teams play each other would be boring. No one would ever be able to score a goal. Nil nil.

I pretty much agree with that summation, though I enjoy watching Barca play - Spain are trying to play like Barca without the same level of ability.

Thats a fair question. Are you going to insult Adelaideans?

Probably, it seems common practice on this forum to make stupid state based insults.

No, absolutely no relevance I was just wondering if he was who I thought he was and he is.

You got tricked by the change of avatar? I had to re read his first couple of posts to confirm it was leftrightout as well

They got through this WC grinding out 1-0 wins mainly down to David Villa. Without him they would struggle for goals.

Frustration can be the best form of entertainment. For me anyway. I love watching a team stuff up chance after chance though I won't admit it during the game but after the game (it might take a few days or weeks) I have to admit I had an enjoyable time. It gives me something to complain about during and after the game.
I personally couldn't care less if Spain score and win or lose and not score. I could just watch them pass the ball around forever.

I have to back sydneycroatia58, watching Spain play is mostly uninteresting. They move the ball very well but that is about it. I enjoy watching Barcelona play, but watching Barca plus extras who don't quite cut the mustard is not my cup of tea. The most entertaining teams of the tournament were Germany, Argentina, Chile and Mexico. I enjoyed some of the Netherlands and some of the Spanish - but overall they were not all that good a spectacle.

Argentina were really enjoyable to watch against Germany  It was the first time their weak defence was tested. And Germany couldnt beat Spain...so there you go. :p

And Spain couldn't beat Switzerland

Switzerland had 2 shots on goal being a gunner’s fan I thought u would know what its like to absolutely dominate a team and concede an unfortunate goal and lose

Yeah Switzerland had 2 shots on goal and probably should have scored with the other shit. All I'm saying is that for all their dominance Spain had some huge problems converting their chances and dominating matches is no good if you don't convert chances. As an Arsenal fan I know that all to well.

Yea but you have lost your arguement with all do respect, because that doesnt make them boring it makes them not clinical enough they are still entertaining. I mean they are one of the few teams in the WC who played offensive football every game, I think you might of miss understood your own argurment.

I guess this must be where our differences lay, i believe there is more then just scoring goals in football, however i do like high scoring games. I think Spain are good to watch they certainly dont park the bus however i think the displays of skill and individual brilliance is a positive step for football.

However you're entilted to your opinion but i think your wrong this time.

The Champions: Spain deserved to win the played with Spanish fair and was simply the best team on the park when it came down to it and play fantastic football.

Their passing style is broring unless they get goals which they hardly had this WC. Their continuous passing in the midfield in little triangles is in no way good to watch and in entertainment terms were overshadowed by Argentina and Germany. They also showed that when they are actually pressured they struggle like against Paraguay and in the final against the Netherlands.

If you think Spain are boring bro you dont understand or watch much football probably behind Germany and maybe argentina the best team to watch this World cup. They may not score as many goals but that is because teams play 5-5-0 against them. [/quote]

Well I didn't miss a game this WC and haven't missed an Arsenal game for about 2 and a half seasons or isn't that enough football for you.

Like you said probably the 3rd best team to watch this WC all I'm saying is that I didn't find them particularly entertaining and would much rather watch Germany or Argentina.

So what if teams park the bus against them what do you expect them to do against Spain. Switzerland showed it worked so why wouldn't they do it?
