 it's gone to penalties.
Or not  it seems both managers agreed not to bother with it.

Gervinho's played like a man possessed this half. Looking really sharp.

Good pre-season usually means bad season... that's my superstition at least anyway. Personally if I had it my way we'd be in that Austrian camp, sounds like a great place to get ready for a football season. Money and all that I suppose.

Some promising signs going forward, especially from Theo, Diaby and Ryo, but still some big problems defensively.

And just as I say that we go down 2-1  Edited by sydneycroatia58: 29/7/2012 07:36:15 PM Yea Diaby is really impressing me as well. The defending on the other hand.

Excited that we are either playing 4-4-2 or Oxlade gets a shot playing centrally. I'd say it'd be Chamakh upfront, Theo right and Ryo left. Ox has played in CM every game this tour.

Quote:Any rumours about selling some of the deadwood? AC Milan, Galatasaray and Celta Vigo have all been linked with Bendtner but other than that talk of outgoing transfers (excluding RVP of course) seems to have gone cold. Edited by gooner4life_8: 29/7/2012 06:25:47 PM

Its what pisses me off about this situation the most, it has nothing to do with our ambition. It is about success, and I wish he had of just came out and said that. What I don't get is we conceeded our most goals in epl and yet still don't have any personnel change in defence, gk or dmc? I don't see you in here as much as some of the other regulars but this seems to be only thing you ever post about  If you take away the freak scoreline against United then our goals conceded record isn't all that disimilar to the last 3 seasons. The injury crisis didn't help either, god knows how many different back 4 combinations we were forced to try last season (EDIT: 19 actually as Sydcro pointed out, Jeez, that's fucking ridiculous). When we did have our first choice back 4 we were relatively solid. There's really not all that much we can do to strengthen the defence. Edited by gooner4life_8: 29/7/2012 06:12:20 PM
