Thank christ we got back to being on the gas....... Even though Bournemouth at least we kicked on depsite the game over by HT. Massive return no doubt about it, equal highest EPL record, last time banged 5 in by HT was 1958 ! OMG can you believe of 9 goals MO isn't on the score sheet. Kudos to Diaz netting a double, Elliots strike was a bullet, TAA's love, VVD thankfully meets a set play cross finally, young Cavalho nets his 1st LFC goal. Bobby, welcome back please retain this form we need you. Still huge concerns in the back ground, we still need to bolster our mids looking ahead. Toons coming up at home will be our next scary test on retrun to form.

Thats one of those games you hate and love about football and your Club. Edge of the seat stuff and frustration get that bloody 1st goal let alone the winner ! Toons always give us a run and worse they are getting better now under Howe and buys and we didn't have to contend with SaintGerman injured and another. We're struggling. Our game has changed from the halycon fast counter attacking times, we are possession obsessed and passing amongst the back because teams sit back with 10 leaves us open them countering us...... MO is marked out/fouled all over where once beat them all and put in worldy's, again though that was from open play. We are getting choked and have been for sometime. Age is the other issue a little but we just need to get our bloody mojo back and pick up the pace. Yes we need some new blood here and there but can't be corrected much this season barring what may occur this window closing let alone next window. We need players back, we need this Nunez to show us he's on the page sooner than later and lets get back to flowing play. We'll take the nuch needed points and Thanks to the young ones putting in big time Elliott and Calvalho coming on and getting last kick winner. Toffees next hard enough and I have fears Napoli coming up in the CL.

sometime since last post....... We're struggling to date in the league, its not about lacking the quality of players but we're just not the same fast flowing team we had been the last few years. Sure opponents have worked us out sitting deep then playing behind us with a long ball on the counter but thats what we used to do as well, fast counters and put away chances than not. We are playing too complicated and then get punished for it. Trossard the other day had too much room to turn shoot, well taken good on him but too easy at the same time...... Huge one coming up against the high flying Gooners that is massive for both. CL nights returned - never expected Rangers to push us much but for late in the game. Convincing possesion wise and attack but again so many chances not taken, mind you McGregor played a MOTM performance for they would have been 5behind by HT. Pulled off some rippa saves and later in the 2nd finger touch one that was well played by him. Anyway take the 2nil - our rhythem just isn't there like before as mentioned, hope they find themselves sooner than later.

Well here we are, our phrase Walking Through A Storm seems appropiate so far this season. Early injuries, and worse the spark is missing......... Was the long last season a major contributer of burn out vying for 4 Cups. Is it the aging squad ? Missing Mane ? his press was leading the way. The talk of our smart recruitment over the years I've always wondered why we haven't bolstered our mids more with players coming into their peak, its admirable Klopp having faith in Elliott/Jones and now Cavalho < but they are still too young to lead imo. Thaigo as brilliant as he is is getting on and as we saw out injured really stifles our attack. I'm also at a loss where has our past brilliant counter attacking we got known for has gone. Other teams do it to us why arn't we doing same again. VVD's sudden error rate. Salah's game has dropped, struggling to get in position to shoot. So many questions theories. Now struggling in 10th with 4draws that hurt. Diaz out till after the WC, our main spark of late. Nunez needs to stand up now more than ever for us. Next up we have Rangers in the CL with a very changed line up I expect and away. Robbo has come back from injury thankfully. Konate as well. Really need to get this win and get a run going for the CL and league. One thing is for sure every Club will be tested more with the WC coming up and the league recommencing. This may fall well for us as in the long run fingers crossed..

My o my what 24hrs difference brings :) Talk about changing gears and getting some mojo back. A changed line up that looked good enough anyway. Loved seeing Konate back for starters. On the bench MO/Thaigo/Robbo usually starters nice luxury. 1st half Gers really came at us as expected with the home support, they got behind with their right side flanker and created some havoc. A well taken goal for the lead sadly. Bobby ! I luv Bobby and so so glad seeing him back to his ol self - maybe's it the Mane factor for he is delivering the goods like he did couple of seasons back. His skill set is marvellous to watch, assists and popping them in the net he's on such a roll for us and so needed. Nunez is starting to work it out, a well taken placed strike and open running, he just needs to stamp his authority more on holding ball when were coming out from our backline. 2nd half it just us getting back to the team I know, dominance and putting away the chances. The subs were so telling its not funny - MO cranking a HT in record 6min CL time OMG how sweet that was to watch ! Welcome back MO the timing is impeccable whats coming ahead. Well done young Elliott knocking up your 1st CL goal for LFC and good game. Good game by all barring those defensive blimps we're still needing to improve. Need 1point more to get through next CL stage. OK we're all feeling bit better and the tonic needed for the big one coming up in the league !

no teams in the epl can play like the 2 boss Clubs of the last 5yrs or so from start to finish let alone 99mins. What a game, had it all and what you love to see as a supporter let alone a neutral. So good having Robbo back ! VVD game of old, hopefully he kicks on from this. Milner @ RB, OMG what a game against Foden. Fabs, Thaigo, Elliott ! Jota good game IF only he put that header on target ! MO, the KING is back, what a game. Nunez coming on was a good call, done some bullocking runs but why o why didn't give to MO in the open in that run of play. You've done this before please learn. Magic win magic 3points. Take that pep and stfu Silva, its give and take. Kloppy lol

A exected changed line up vs Hammers after after the huge city game. Sadly Jota out for sometime and many more still, the pressure of these quick turn around games will make or break us in time possibly, 4 more games till the WC break after Nov 14. Didn't expect us to dominate this game for Hammers are a well drilled side and some dangerous class players. In saying that Bowen wasn't on his game and Rice wasn't as well. The best keeper in the EPL Allison saves a crucial pen that could have really changed the game against us, bravo what complete keeper. Kudos Simikas on a perfectly flighted ball in the box for Nunez to put away. He is coming along bit by bit each game. MO had quite a few snatch chances. Thought Hendo played very well covering the holes and Thaigo as always robust and killer distribution. It just wasn't all there as expected but treasured 3points all that counts and more so a clean sheet ! Forest next away already on Saturday. Leeds @ Anfield Spurs away. Saints @ Anfield. Must win all.

man this Club of mine has you on tender hooks always lol.... The sky os falling expecting the worst this past CL away game against Ajax. They are leading their comp, scoring well so I expected us to really struggle the way we have going + injuries. First 20mins or so we we're messy, line up not too bad but changing our format and style had us all over the shop. They had a couple good chances then so did we. Finally winning ball high ball gets to Hendo breaking down the left and with his outside right flicks the ball early behind their line seeing MO who run onto it first time flicks it over the coming keeper, peach play and goal ! That settled us. Then another peice of brillinat build up play we carved them open and Bobby never the selfish one lays the ball back across goal to Nunez who's places a sitter hitting the near post damn it ! Thankfully resume of paly 2nd half we put away a couple of top goals, Nunez of all things meets a great cross from robbo angles it in far side - the harder chance he puts away with aplumb. Young Harvey puts away a nice hit after more good play. Coasting 3nil qualified next CL stage with a game left against Napoli happy days.

happy days it wasn't come the league and woeful loss to Leeds. Alot of soul searching from that but thats the struggles were in this season and I feel for sometime. Need players back and hopefully some continuity prevails in time and this CL battle with Napoli was good medicine needed. Was a very even conetst as expected but to come out of it with 2 late goals good result. Gave Napoli its 1st loss for the season having been in such good form. Well 5days rest and its a big one against Spurs away in the league.

Carabo vs Derby. The kids did it tuff most of the game, more so couldn't find the net with most possesion and all. Went to pens and Thankfully once again young Kelleher showed his class saving 3, well done son fine effort. Working with Alli is doing wonders for his craft between the sticks.

alot has changed since my post above...... WC been and done, league re started with alot of hope but the cracks are showing more and more. I've never understood keep buying attacking players when our midfield has been ageing the last 2/3yrs. Riding and relying on the last 5yrs core is biting us bigtime now. Never understood letting Ginny go at the time and since Mane, HTF we let him go so cheap as well. We've retained too many sqaudy types like Ox/Keita and for the life of me, I know why Klopp has positively spun about Jones/Elliott (as much promise they have) - money. Kloppy really needs to change the deck pronto.

hooray what a change for the derby ! and congrats Gakpo getting his 1st LFC goal finally and what build up play of old. Counters like in the past - MO's finish with his unfavoured right was brilliant. Much better and even more so welcome back off the bench Jota/Bobby ! and VVD. Just the tonic we needed on the win and some boys getting back. Lets take this to the Toons fingers crossed..

Worst shellacking at home I can remember and we gave all those 5 to them, damn they are clinical. WTF happenned to the first 20mins of form - I thought we up for this and we're back to our old game. Sorry Gomez how many times have you put us under pressure when not needed and errors. VVD needs to get back to usual self, WTF can their evergreens still perform and ours are looking sub par. More so get some new midfielders FFS through the summer. Got to say young Bajcetic is a treasure that shows so much potential when he matures is going to be a gun player. No way we are going to recover, league is all thats left IF we can get some fight/reduce those BS errors and get a run of wins slight hope, slight.

we have somehow recovered the much lost ground the last couple of weeks. The line up tweaks have worked some wonders, shifting TAA into the halves in transitions sure has improved our ball distribution moving forward. We're all starting to sync again as well. Jota been a breath of fresh air once he got some runs in his legs and getting that important goal lacking off his back he hasn't stopped since you beauty ! I was a little iffy on Gakpo way back but he sure is making a difference - strong on the ball, skilful and now becoming a key cog. Jones has been refreshing the last couple of weeks, the time on the pine has done him well. We're at the business end now full on, can't believe we're just 1 behind united now even thought hey have a game in hand. They are shaky no doubt about it. I would be happy we make Europa as JK says, its something to play for next season but IF we make the 4 I'll be absolutely amazed but so so damn happy. Bring on the Foxs next away, gonna be another tuff one they are looking to survive, we must get this win.

Well thats it, draw killed the chance but I can live with Europa thinking back 8weeks ago. We were gone at that stage so a mighty fight back. Villa hand it to them played a mighty game at Anfield but their tactics was cheap wasting time and falling down for a free from just a touch, ref should have pulled a card out from the 1st half but how it went and reason for a 100min game ffs. THANKYOU Bobby, si senor, legend and to get that important equaliser last game at home was so so fitting ! Will miss you so so much and Thankyou for your devoted service to LFC. Same applies to Milly, its sad losing them both but they and we have to move on. Naby/Ox, Naby I really wished things went better for you but too many injuries it has really robbed you in your LFC career. Ox I still couldn;t understand why we bought you but you put in, scored some important good goals but like Naby but worse, injuries robbed you and us. Please finish off on a high for the last game.

Well, glad and not the season is done and dusted. Christ we blew it but that 63 game previous season cooked us and early injuries had us on the slippery slope. Thank christ we recovered having that needed unbeaten 7 match run, blew it at home against Villa we could have had that slight chance making CL BUT TBH I was already resigned Europa at least under the circumstances and thankfully it is. Now just get this rebuild done and lets be ready be on the front foot for next season. YNWA Thankyou departing Legends again.

I'm saddened to see Si Senor has decided to take the $$$ playing the Saudi league with Al Ahli x 3yrs. @ 31yrs he could have still been farfar more value to a top euro Club, Bobby WTF. Wish you the best but I'm sad as mentioned, he joins GK Mendy at the same Club. Fark even SG has just signed up for a gaffa role there !
