Great fight from Lyon. Shame Siddle, Pattinson & Starc fell so quickly. A bot more fight from one of them may have got us over the line.

Didn't go to the match, but happened to log on down at the library with the Aussies needing 8 runs and NZ 1 wicket. Me and my mates were all gathered round watching the cricinfo updates and of course they were all going for Australia so it was fun when they lost :p

Bit sad there's no cricket now until Boxing Day. Although I am beginning to warm towards the Hurricanes. At first I wasn't that interested, not that I'm one of those T20 haters, I'm all behind the Tigers in all forms of the game but I was just feeling a bit meh about the Hurricanes. I didn't like colours, the name and preferred it when it was states, but now I think I'll go to the new competition, just because it's not the Tigers playing anymore doesn't mean I should no longer care.

I used the winnings I got from Dunaden yesterday, and put all $470 on NZ at 2.70..when the score was 7/199.

Awesome test. Ridiculous that Channel 9 Viewers decide the MOTM, Bracewell deserved it over Warner.

Hughes, Ponting, Haddin and Khawaja should all be waving goodbye to their test careers.

In all honesty though. 9/21 not that long ago. Massive collapse again today. all out for 90 something in the Ashes. At some point the selectors are going to have to drop a batsman eventually.

Haddin out for Wade or Paine. Marsh for Khawaja. Hughes for Watson when fit if not push Marsh up to open with Christian in at 3.

We do have a problem when Cummins and Harris are both back fit though. Who do you pick?
