I flicked through the fixtures and that seems to be the case. It's still a pretty shit way of going about it IMO. Why not just have each team playing each other twice? Is it that incomprehensible? Scrap the meaningless pre-season where sides don't play most of their first team players and get straight into it.

This might have been asked already and I can't really be bothered looking, but what's happening with the bye this season? I mean...you've got 17 teams right, which means one team plays a bye each week...what about the other 5 rounds in the season? They have a bye each round plus they also have the split rounds at some stage during the season. I think

I'm pretty sure I read an article and the Blacktown council was saying the NRL had been neglecting the area, which is what spurred the decision to make the facility.

19-18 to the Giants with 3 minutes left in the half Really surprised. :-k GWS are actually making this competitive. ----Half time and GWS are in the lead.  I reckon. What the hell. Second half is going to be veeery interesting. Though honestly I predict a blowout. So SydCro + Maktheknife, you can rest easy... you will more than likely be able to gloat about this result for another year.

At least we know the AFL didn't bribe anyone to make the GWS scoreline more respectable. 18-0 after 5 minutes. Just hope GWS can kick a goal.

sydneycroatia58 wrote:So GWS' debut went swell, losing 83-4 to the Swans. Yeah I know they don't even have a full and proper team yet but who cares it's still hilarious. Obviously they were to focused on the falafel and not the football.
Seriously though will be interesting to see how they go against the Suns later tonight.
Edited by sydneycroatia58: 19/2/2011 08:23:07 PM I'm surprised you're even watching an 'aerial ping pong' match, SydCro.
