I wouldnt say fucking awesome, yes they played well but only scored 3 trys, they only made us pay with all the mistakes we made, but in saying that with all the mistakes we made they should of scored alot more, in the 3 trys 1 was a dropped morris bomb and the only the sharkes bloke walked through 3 pissweak tackles, any other team i feel the score line would of been huge Their defence was awesome. I've never seen Soward have to kick so many times from so deep in his half.

Cronulla is fucking shit and their gunna beat st george TBF the Sharks were fucking awesome tonight. The Sharks played well but explain Penrith, Manly, Brisbane on top of Cronulla... like they say it's a tighter comp, that's because the standard of play has dropped from the top teams I wouldn't include Penrith in there. They are one of the top teams tbh, just had a horror first week. Penrith are pretenders, you only have to look at last season how they collapsed, they aren't going to win a premiership with that team Spot on. They'll fall away this year People said the same thing in 2005 and look what happened, - champions, being my local team i go to pretty much all penrith games(even though im a saints fan) the only problem with penrith is they rely on jennings too much, they give him the ball and expect magic but in saying that he is magic if 100% fit which he isnt atm, the penrith friday night is the penrith we will see more often this season compared to the penrith in round 1, btw how did they collapse last season? they finished 2nd and got knocked out by a redhot canberra and played roosters with half the team injured,

I'm sick of the Warriors. My favourite player (Beast) is injured, and my second and third favourites (Fish and Hohaia) are struggling to make an impact.

Overall pretty good, dominated the first half, started slowly in the 2nd weathered a bit of a storm and finished very strong. Dominated easily, but concerned about ball control, tbh it didn't get much better in the second half with knock ons, although souths were just as bad.... Manly got up so with how fucked this comp is Easts will probably beat us next week cause we're due a loss It's that stuffed of a comp that Newcastle will be 6-0 and then end up at 9-11 near the back end of the season

sydneycroatia58 wrote:And SOuths could have wrapped the game up in the 2nd half if not for some good defending. Eh... by my count every time Canterbury got inside the opp 20 they scored in the 2nd Half, so i wouldn't say good defending, i'd say taking their chances and holding the ball, they dominated field position in the 2nd half Souths and had opportunities to win the game, i don't think the field goal was the critical play because their wasn't much on at the time for Souths, they didn't create more from their own accord and didn't control the ball well enough, that's why they didn't win
