What this Bulldogs team needs is for someone to put 50 or 60 pts on them.

Not that I want to attack club doctors and their credibility, but why do they announce injury layoff expected return dates when players make miraculous recoveries well and truly short of the estimated recovery period?
I speak of Adam Reynolds returning last night for Souths, 3 weeks after an apparent injury which the "club doctor" said was going to keep him out for 3-4 months (which exacerbated the accidental contact made by James Graham and Klemmer for attempting to charge down a field goal attempt)
Not only is it dishonest to say players arent that badly hurt, its more than likely that this is part of the mind games teams play on the preparation of the opposition, Im suspecting the St George Dragons were not expecting to face up against Souths with Reynolds. On a grander scale, Darius Boyd, the most imposing, dominant fullback of the competition - was "said" to be expecting to miss out on the whole season, but we can only hope New South Wales Origin was well and truly prepared to face a Queensland team with him in there, because its not Inglis or Slater, but Boyd is NSW's tormentor
Why do they even have a use for club doctors anyway? :-K The only certainty for expected layoffs is suspension of which Greg Bird will not be there for Origin... [-(

Johnson scores just as good a try to steal the game at the death.

Well done to the Cowboys on re-signing Ethan Lowe, probably the most underrated forward in the comp. =d> Hoping he puts some Bulldogs on their arses tomorrow night. -PB

Have been saying this for a while now but Sheens needs to go. Don't know why he keeps getting picked for rep shit. -PB He's just a solid player but he's primarily picked for his thuggery, every pass/last tackle by an opposition playmaker he'll be there putting on either a late or high shot. Every play the ball he's involved in both attack and in defence he'll be throwing elbows, arms in the face, etc. From memory he's 'kicked' someone four times in his last twelve or so games. I fear if the NRL don't throw the book at him, one day he'll break someones leg. :( I must have missed the shoulder charge too, only just saw it on the replay. -PB

Would be quite happy if he never played a game for the Bulldogs again.

-PB Thought about going, glad i didn't now. Tickets were not cheap and Australia are going to get pumped. IMO these games should not be played in Sydney or Brisbane and instead be spread to places like Townsville, Melbourne and Newcastle as well as Wellington, Christchurch or Dunedin in NZ. Sydney and Brisbane get origin anyway. +1. Meaningless game to people in brisbane. Should be shared around
