Really hope can get the win tonight. Sydney V Manly is the grand final we deserve in terms of quality. Would be impossible to live up to the standard of 2 weeks ago, but would be some bloody tough footy. I do realize that the Knights are probably the fairy tale that all neutrals want to win

Was a great try nonetheless and a great game. As a (sort of) neutral I really enjoyed it, and as someone who doesn't really like Souths, it was even better to see Manly come back and beat them.

Bit hard to be snide when the try chalked off from the Souths was almost exactly the same circumstances as Manly's opener.

I daresay it would kill the Mariners. They've been the only competitive national league team on the coast for ages now, and I can't help but think the moment they get a bit of competition that Coast families won't be able to afford (or keep enthused for) sport all year round.

If the Sharks relocate, seems the perfect time IMO to start a Wollongong HAL team, try and steal a few supporters from the Shire (what does it take, an hour to get to Wgong from Sutherland?)

So there was a report on FSN about the significant decline in finals attendance. Really poor administration of rugby league in general. I don't buy the whole cultural argument. I blame piss poor management and I blame my personal no show on how Gallop took care of Melbourne in such a disproportional way compared to the dicipline of other clubs.

Cronulla also seem to be dying. Franchise model doesn't work also.

Perth had the Western Reds. It's been done.

Pissed of about the game being at Ipswich. Won't be able to get back from there before work so I'll miss it, really should be at Suncorp
