I'd wait until the Formula One homepage actually CONFIRMS the circuit's approval. Rather than some indian wikipedia wannabe page.

Vettel on Pole again. Ferrari finally laid down some rubber with Alonso second and Massa third. Webber came in 4th. Hamilton in fifth, Button in seventh, Petrov down in tenth.
Webber to finish around sixth looking at that.

Got to study like a bitch today, but i'll stay up and watch it.. Hopefully Webber will get a podium, was in last season or the season before that he won it. He's yet to DNF this year, so I suspect this will be the race he'll spin out in or his car will just die on him. 1. Button 2. Vettel 3. Alonso ;)

RBR are both running an intermediate set-up. McLaren have set up for a wet race and I'd say it'll be a McLaren 1/2.

FUCKING SURPRISE!!! Lewis Hamilton tags Webber and spins him out. What a useless cunt.
EDIT: THE TWO MCLARENS TOUCH!! Hamilton's badly damaged "WHAT WAS HE DOING?!" - Jensen Button.
Karma you grubby worm! And now he's parked his car on the most fucking dangerous part of the track! You fucking retard!

Camera pans past media building... Martin Brundle: "We're up on the top right, wave out the window, David. We'll see if we can make you famous" *DC scoffs indignantly* This is soooooooooo boring. Why would you make a circuit with shit drainage?! Fucking Canadians! Apparently Nikki Lauder told german tv that in his opinion Lewis Hamilton is "completely mad" Edited by afromanGT: 13/6/2011 04:43:48 AM

They made me wait two hours...but it was totally worth it.
Vettel fucks up on the fourth last turn under immense pressure and somehow after 6 pit stops and a drive through penalty, Jensen Button fucking wins the Canadian Grand Prix!
Webber and Schumacher had a classic duel....and Massa and Koboyashi were separated by 0.045.
But at the end of the day, you know it's been a good race when the safety car does more laps than Lewis Hamilton.
The race stewards are investigating EIGHT race incidents.

Depends what you call 'Good Results'. * The fact that it's their 4th race of the season where they haven't had a team retirement, or the fact it's now a 2-race non-retirement streak. They're running dead last in a 3-way tie in the Constructor standings with Lotus-Renault and Virgin-Cosworth on 0 points.

I called it. :) You wouldn't have been saying that with 15 laps to go when Button made his SIXTH pit stop.. Good race by Koboyashi and Schumacher. Pity neither could make it onto the podium.

Nice Bump. Good start by Webber but Vettel got off to a flier. Webbers about to have Alonso all over his arse.
Can't wait to see Hamilton go out.

buddha69 wrote:If the place was not good to look at, this grand prix would not have much going for it Yeah, it's been quite dull so far. Not a lot of overtaking, no real stacks and the only cars getting close to each other are ones being lapped. Surprise surprise, something on webber's car is broken. That's never happened before #-o Hopefully he can hang on to third.

Superb pit from Webber and he's back in front of Alonso. They're both going to be in trouble for time switching to the medium compound later in the race though I think.

They need to just scrap KERS. Buttons has overheated now, has had more cons than pros so far.

KERS is just one disaster after another. I really hope that they don't have to retire Button.

Gearbox problem now for Webber. Things not going his way at all today, he would have caught Alonso if that hadn't fucked up. He's lucky he's got such a big gap back to Hamilton so should hang on to third barring catestrophic mechanical failure.

I wouldn't say that yet, he could be pulled back into the pack with the changes in exhaust rules at Silverstone.
