Yeah there isn't much in the way of a description here but the source has been incredibly reliable in the past when it comes to breaking MV news so it is worth listening to and speculating over. I'm bored and just don't care, to be perfectly honest with you And the source has got some things right, got a lot of things wrong too

He has got a lot of things right though, and seeing as we're all bored I would have thought a bit of speculation would have been interesting enough, I was genuinely interested to see read the thoughts from Roar supporters on this, not just see ultra defensive responses.

Not really a talking point as there is nothing to talk about, although i guess we are talking about it now, but more in relation to the point of the post in the first place rather than it's contents. As i said though if you have a name than by all means we will have something to talk about.

Well I don't think it could be any of the boys which are contracted. I don't think the club would just release player and surely this player would of asked for a release earlier. I'm hoping it's none of the youth boys we have several promising players there. I'm thinking it would most likely be a past player.

The enjoyment will remain as long as all the stadium services are in place and there's very good transport.
An upgraded Perry Park to 20,000 would be my choice. Close to train and main road for bus services. Only thing missing are pubs.
We don't need state of the art stadiums but we shouldn't move from Suncorp either until we have the right facilities.
Edited by paulc: 18/6/2012 05:50:56 PM Perry Park is already being redeveloped by the PCYC under a 99 year lease, so not gonna happen PCYC have always been the landlords. Roar could lease it as co-tennants as did and/or still do the Brisbane Strikers. The development will need better corporate facilities and new grandstands to suit about 20K which it does not have.
In a resort somewhere

Wait... have people been discussing ozsportsInsider's rumours? Really? The same chap who had Thwaite and Mitch Cooper signing for Brisbane?
If there is some truth in the rumour, it would have to be a former player, as all current players (apart from Adnan, Mundy and Issey) are contracted for next season. Maybe it could be Adnan... who knows... More likely if it is true it is some former player who Ange wanted, like Sergio van Dijk, who Adelaide are apparently (if you believe more wild rumour) thinking of releasing.

Someone on the Roar forum posted our schedule for the back end of the season and the ACL.
Placing the back half/finals of the season into the 2013 ACL (And note, next year's ACL is pretty much a week earlier as they are expanding the R16 out to a TWO-legged tie from now on)
22 Feb - Jets vs Roar 26/27 Feb - ACL MD 1 2 March - Adelaide vs Roar 9 March - Roar vs Victory 12/13 March - ACL MD 2 17 March - CCM vs Roar 24 March - Roar vs Heart 26 March - Australia vs Oman 28 March - Roar vs Sydney 2/3 April - ACL MD 3 5-7 April - HAL Finals Week 1 (if we finish Top 2, this weekend becomes a 'bye' one) 9/10 April - ACL MD 4 12-14 April - HAL Finals Week 2 19-21 April - HAL Grand Final Weekend 23/24 April - ACL MD 5 30 April/1 May - ACL MD 6

From what I heard Randers had a player very similar to him, so they weren't interested.

According to the courier mail, it is unlikely that we will resign Adnan and Rado is currently in Japan looking for a new CB.

I want Rado to find an extremely fast cb. We were caught out on the counter attack so many times in the ACL and this was our major weakness. It looks like Rado has realized this and is looking for a quick Japanese CB.

Roar general manager Sean Dobson: The inclusion of four home games in the more family-friendly Sunday afternoon timeslot, up from two last year, would also help the Roar in their bid to reach 10,000 members. “We expect to grow from about 4000 to about 7000 this year but there's a real push to achieve that 10,000. Those more family-oriented times like Sunday afternoons (will help) Read more: http://www.brisbanetimes.com.au/sport/a-league/roar-relishes-ange-return-20120619-20ll8.html#ixzz1yLI8QYx7
