Reinaldo is the WORST PLAYER TO EVER have worn the Roar shirt. So frustrating to watch, so lazy, so little skill and consistency. Reinaldo wasn't that bad... Always showed passion for the club, yeah he did miss a few (but who didn't back in those days)... Not saying we should sign him, but he was far from our worst player - pretty sure Marcinho (sp?) or the 'Chinese Beckham' that we had would be right up there as our 'worst'.

Yeah Murray must have come on in the second half as I didn't see him much in the first half. I also agree that it's good to have these tough matches against the wolves, I always had a feeling they were going to be tough. But some of the misses from them, u can see why they're in the state league. Also that player everyone said we should sign Kado Acoi? Would not in a million years fit into our system. Really overweight as well.

Just thinking about it Reinaldo wouldn't be too bad of an option. But I doubt we'll get him.

Another interesting point is that in the five pre-season matches, we've conceded only two goals both from set pieces as well. Not bad.

Hmm given their 4k announcement just a day or two ago, it may actually seem Roar are still tracking well? Perhaps again not for 10k, but circa 7-8k aka new club record? They announced the 3k mark around a month ago, from when they announced 4k and that seems in keeping. Matt McKay's arrival MAY'VE helped bump it up a bit, just past couple days too. Hopefully he and anny other announcements help push it up further. Once they exceed 6k it will be looking more position. Hopefully, at this rate, they hit that 6k mark atleast come Round 1 of the A-League and that will be bettering, or near bettering, their previous season's marks already.

Quote:Broich soon coach in Australia? The former Bundesliga player Thomas Broich can imagine a career as a coach or manager in his professional career entirely. But the midfielder from the Australian club Brisbane Roar will not return to Europe for that.
One reason for this is the stressful life in the Bundesliga League.
"In my Bundesliga misery was clear to me that I will have nothing more to do with football in Germany," says the Australian Legionnaires talking to the football magazine "11Freunde" and adds: "If I stay in business - what absolutely is an option - it would be with the current boom here to work as a coach or manager. "
The 32-year-old has been voted player of the year in Australia. His contract runs out at Brisbane Roar 2017. Then another commitment Down Under seems quite within the realm of possibility.http://www.sport1.de/de/fussball/fus_international/newspage_760302.html

Yeah that would pretty fantastic. Always thought he was an extremely intelligent football player and that could easily translate to coaching.

Looked at Malcolm's wiki for the first time. I knew he had played for Rangers but didn't know he made 88 appearances for them

The Costa Rican lad that Ange signed in a desperate attempt to turn our season around along with the main man Pieter?

BIGHUX wrote: Looked at Malcolm's wiki for the first time. Off the top of my head, beyond Malcolm, who is probably the worst footballer I have ever seen, there are players like Stephen Pearson, a player who like Malcolm managed to look poor compared to a abysmal Derby side in 2007-08, John Sutton, who was a goal every third game striker in Scotland and various other "Scottish stars". The problem with the SPL is it seems to go from low Premier League, high Championship quality at the top, right down to non-league and below at the bottom, allowing truly mediocre players to thrive.

Yep had little expectations of petratos when he joined but he really has grown as a player. On a separate note pauly is a legend for all these pre season highlights

Petratos was the only positive from this game. Miller consistently under performs and is clearly overrated. Thank goodness we have Matty back otherwise a bleak season ahead.

Petratos,Ferreira, yeboah all combined well on the right. I don't know what your expecting from Miller this early in the pre season with a new team. Everyone had miss placed passes and lost the ball in possession. Don't know why you singled miller out. Overall a very tough physically and solid pre season game for the roar.

Really think Miller is going to be a gun with us. He's just so composed and clever on the ball, also has a decent shot. Berisha must be licking his lips at the type of service he'll receive this season.
