I know we are a club that doesn't need marquees and the like but I find it almost a bit offensive that we are arguably the most succesful club over the past 5 seasons yet don't get one of these big marquee matches against the likes of Juve, Man U, Liverpool etc? It'd be great for the club, players and the city in general. Mind you we haven't had these big matches and keep winning titles so.....
Thoughts?

I always had a goal for the club to reach 20k in the next 5 years if we reach that in two then I'd be over the moon. :')

Brisbane Roar's latest Australian record; after 10 years you're the only team to never have won a match outside of Australia and New Zealand :')

Great to see someone expanding their horizons and trying to better themself. BTW, that Miligan thread was actually started because I was genuinely interested to know if it was a record. But you know these things, they get a life of their own ... a bit like a record run without defeat. See you at Suncorp sometime!? Edited by clockwork orange: 24/7/2014 05:56:00 PM

Thoughts? The queensland government unfortunately still paying off the debts of the last bunch of incompetent loonies. The End. Fixed. Bang on. Labor govt builds the AFL a stadium, gives it a sweet tenancy deal, and leaves a mountain of debt for the state for the LNP to try to fix. And somehow its Campbell's fault for not shelling out to get Man U? FMD

Gave himself and his cronies a huge pay rise instead though didn't he (he now earns more than the US president)? They also got a nice $30m package of 'donations' and won't tell anybody what they did with it (and wants to pass a law that keeps all future ones secret). Are building themselves a new multi-billion dollar 'bat cave' for him and his mates, and over $50m on two new greyhound racing tracks. Injecting billions into the mining industry and trying to hide it's paper trail. Cuts to pensioners, to public servants, to the NDIS, to relief funds. The largest fiscal deficit in QLD history and the worst unemployment since 1991. Conveniently ignores the recent natural disasters and their effect on the economy and blames them on the previous governments instead. Jobs are down, unemployment is up, and you are trying to defend him on the back of one decision? You need to stop listening to the drivel of politicians and open your eyes. FMD indeed.
