Going by the demo, it is a massive improvement on the previous game.

I'd be more inclined to buy FIFA 12 if EA would offer a demo with at least five minute halves, I haven't bought a footy game in a couple of years and am quite hopeless, can barely get going in the demo before the match is over.

Well havent had a huge amount of time to get the timing right ((only played a couple of halves this sarvo) but at about 18-25 yards the ball sometimes just rockets into a corner but from furthur out itt has just been going everywhere for me. Have been playing with Barca (playing on friends PC so not my choice) and do not know the quality of their long shots has anyone here checked all their stats.

I dont trust Ozgameshop...bought some headphones and they took over a month to arrive. I have pre-order BF3 with them though and thats cause it was $50 (on PC)

I think EA know what they're doing and whatever ratings come out in the final game will be perfect as they're the experts.

Scored a nice goal from a counter attack.. ended up Aguero 1v1 with a defender and took a nice touch round him.. knock ons don't work nearly as well as on Fifa 11 (which is good, was sick of stupid knock ons and stupid pace). Anyway, I was online so... :P

Anyone using Tactical Defending? I tried it for the first few games, struggled to win possession back, and changed it to Legacy Defending.

I'm using it, as are most people that I know.

This. EA has absolutely nothing, in terms of research, on SI. They are absolutely miles ahead of anyone else.
