we built our old stadium from scratch. the club house the lot. so when we were forced to relocate, it was on the basis that we would be given like for like.

olympic have contributed nothing to belmores upgrade and are benefitting from the dogs return and good luck to them for doing so.

as for your suggestion regarding councillors of our background as you put it getting us the upgrade, that is both fanciful and ridiculous. oh and for those who dont know, theres only one councillor or maco heritage on rockdale council anyway.

we got what we did on the basis of the forced relocation and the like for like principle. we ourselves have since undertaken the further upgrades, - floodlights, seating etc.

given he came in relatively late into the pre season, he largely inherited the squad however he was responsible for securing a few of the boys. as for team selection, board had nothing to do with that. we dont operate that way.

2. pls take no credit for improvements at belmore. bottom line is, no bulldogs and nothing would of been done.

3. good luck getting access to belmore once the dogs first grade, premier league, toyota cup, harold matthews, and sg ball teams are fully into their training and playing games there (all of them bar the first grade and toyota cup).

4. why do you continue to take shots at sydney fc? newsflash- they are our only a-league side and only a few disgruntled fools like yourself take joy in any apparant failures by them. give up the dream buddy, the nsl died a long time ago and so did your clubs aspirations to return to top flight football. i dont want to bag olympic, i wish them the best, but state league is like it or not your home, as it is ours, and rigthfully so.

5. olympic players given 2k to play at rockdale? you are funny. seriously. not sure who your source is but if so, we would be the highest payers in the state league and by some margin too. its quite laughable. id focus more on player retention champ.

Disagree with this point, as well as the BSG redevelopment they are also building 3-4 practice pitches, 1 of them will have a small grandstand where all the minor teams of both the Bulldogs and Olympic will play, the teams will train on the other practice pitches and there will only be NSW Cup and NSWPL traffic on the actual Belmore Sports Ground. So its a fantastic deal for Olympic

no doubt the works being carried out at peter moore field are to avoid any issues regarding access to the main stadium. and yes, i suspect your youth games will be played there so not a bad thing as the field will be decent once finished. any idea how much you guys pay for your lease at belmore?
