And I kinda started watching it and it's actually a decent show. Having stunning main characters doesn't hurt either. So um...would I be able to borrow this from the local Video Ezy?

Severely underrated show. Much better than Family Guy at any rate. Pales in comparison to this though...

samb wrote:My Family  classic This. Awesome show. Robert Lindsay is brilliant. Speaking of Robert Lindsay, everyone should check out his new show, Spy. Sitcom about a single dad, trying to impress his son, who goes for a job interview for the civil service, only to go to the wrong room. He ends up getting accepted into MI5. Well written and very funny. His son Marcus is a wonderful character. I'm revoking your man card. Agree that American Dad is awesome. Haven't watched any of the recent series, but first season is great. Family Guy musts try's to be offensive now. It's not funny anymore.

Breaking Bad is unbelievably refreshing. Can't re-emphasise the above comments. First season was pretty dry but the final episode gets you hooked (once you get your head around the fact Bryan Cranston is no longer the douche bag father from Malcolm In The Middle).
Currently acquiring season 4.

I'm still a Sucker for Supernatural. Season 7 has been good. Less angels and demons more outlaw cowboy's.
I really wanted to get into American Horror Story but missed the first Few eps so I'm just going to buy it off of my local pirate for 15 bucks but mainly hearing Good things.
SOA- I haven't seen the last few Eps of season 2 due to laziness and the complete series of Daria (very funny)but I'll get there.
Has anyone continued with 2 1/2 Men since Kutcher took over?? I watched the first to eps and gave up. no where near as good as it was with Sheen.

Really got into a series that just finished a few weeks ago called Homeland. Excellent show, happy it's been given a 2nd season.
New Californication on Monday :d

I finished SOA season 2 last week and it was unreal, can't wait to get my hands on the next season. Also Homeland looks pretty good, the concept really appeals to me and the first episode was promising, I'll definitely be tuning in again next week.

I do feel a need to rant about community. This is by far the Funniest show to come out of the states since Arreseted development and NBC have put it's third season on Hiatus due to low ratings.
What is wrong with Americans that allow this inteligent humour and well scripted show to be left on the side of the road and killed off?
Only 10 of the 25 episodes have aired and it has been rumoured that the second half will air in the Summer line up (so called non ratings period) but it is highly unlikely to be picked up for a fourth season. Shits me to tears!!
We can only hope that if it is killed after the 3 that a ground swell will pick up like it has with Arrested Development and get 10 more eps and a Movie!
If you haven't seen it check it out, you can buy season 1&2 for around $20 a piece.

Yeah, it was a ridiculous decision to shelve it. One of the funniest shows I've seen in recent years and they put it on hiatus. Trying to find a DVD store in Queenstown atm that sells it, but out of luck so far.

One of the (many) perks of livng on residence at uni is access to the college network and the video and music sharing that allows for, thats how I got my hands on all the aired epsiodes of Community and pretty much any TV show or movie I watch. It's brilliant. Still think they should have shot the bloke in the convenience store when they had a chance before going after Jax's son.
