The ovation Eddie Murphy gets at SNL 40 is unreal, considering the crowd that was there. It's tragic his later work means people grow up today not realising he's one of the greatest comedians and comic actors of all time. Single handedly kept the show alive in the early 80's.

So happy Nick Kroll made an appearance - I'm hoping every single James Franco roaster gets a cameo in this show  You should really watch The League if you haven't already, it stars Nick Kroll and features a lot of the Franco roasters at some stage or another, Seth Rogen in particular plays a pretty memorable character. I keep getting told about it, and keep forgetting to get ahold of it. It will be my mission today! Yea you've got to watch it, a great show revolving around fantasy football. =d> =d> =d> Also two very average episodes of TWD in a row.

It seems like the Americans are so low on ideas they decided to readapt the adaptation of Christos Tsioklas's The Slap on Nbc
Apparently the reason being? They weren't able to handle the Australian accent
Its just proof that its not just all English after all :-k
Edit- and Gillian Jacobs (Britta from Community) has found herself on Lena Dunham's series, although I isolate myself from others for watching that show...

Just finished season 2 of House of Cards, and the first season of Vikings. House of Cards became a little too predictable towards the end, and almost felt a little rushed in getting to the finale. That said, still more than enjoyable. I can't get enough of Kevin Spacey.
Felt sad at Freddy's downfall. Despite his dodgy history, the bloke didn't deserve to lose his business like that. I really hope it's not the end of Freddy as a character - He brings a refreshing edge to the overall storyline
Season 1 of Vikings is excellent. Love it. The casting is fantastic, Found out that the bloke who plays Ragnar (Travis Fimmel), and the chick who plays Princess Aglug (Alyssa Sutherland) who you see a very impressive full frontal nude of :P ) are both Australian. One thing I can't get enough of about Ragnar, is that cheeky smile/grin he seems to always wear. It makes the really serious scenes appear less so, and bring an almost reality to the situation. His wife, the gorgeous Kathryn Winnick reminds me a little of of Cersei Lannister (GoT), in the way she holds herself as a character. However, that's probably where the similarities stop. Both are completely differnt characters and actresses. Also Ragnar's kid, reminds me a little bit of Joffrey. It's probably the blond hair. Floki is probably up there as one of my favourite characters in the show, probably because he's a little bit loopy. Keen for Season 2. :)

Only in America will they be happy to watch gratuitous gore and high impact violence but shudder at two members of the same sex kissing.

I thought it was sweet, Aaron and Eric are great characters.
Kirkman wrote extensively about why he has gay characters in the story after a similar backlash to his casual use of homosexuality in the comics.
I think that he does diversity the correct way. He doesn't shoehorn it in for the sake of masking or enhancing tropes, he does it because it's a part of our everyday societal culture and those societal makeups haven't disappeared just because the civilised world has ended.

Not to mention in all these years of chaos, murder and cannibalism not once has anyone uttered a single swear word, or exposed a human female nipple. Funny people. Also I thought it was clear that Michonne and whatsherface were lovers, or was that just me? Never saw them kiss, but.

I didn't hear anybody complaining about the fairly graphic lesbian sex scene in S2 of House of Cards. Two decent looking women, fully naked doing the horizontal grind harder than Jamie Oliver and his Mortar and Pestle.

The walking dead Finale has had it's run time raised to an hour, 90 minutes if you include commercials. I want this season to end on this cliffhanger so fucking badly. Spoiler obviously http://static.comicvine.com/uploads/original/0/40/2141545-w2.jpg
