The Wachowskis have thrown their hand at putting something on Netflix where they flesh out/ explain their stories, instead of making gigantic overlong flops like Cloud Atlas or Jupiter Ascending

Loved season 1, just started season 2 last week.

Apparently theres a stigma against the I.T Industry because of shows like Silicon Valley and the I.T Crowd
Where the reality is, most jobs (for people in the employable age) will migrate to the I.T tech industry

Theres just something that gets people down over sitting in front of a computer screen all day ](*,)

Ive never seen the I.T crowd, but Silicon valley seems less about tech and more about the behind the scenes running of business in the valley, sprinkled with nerd jargon and jokes.
The lead actor really sells this show, he is the epitome of a nervous wreck.

I cant believe that was Jim Carrey on Jerry Seinfeld's "Comedians in Cars getting Coffee"

True Detective started well I reckon, I think the L.A. atmosphere they've created is going to be brilliant moving forward too.

The spastics that built the first season up too much have already turned on it, calling it boring and criticizing the characters for not being as interesting as Rust and Marty, it's pretty bloody cringe worthy how intent some people are to not like this IMO. It's as though people are just re writing history when they make their comparisons, the pacing of the first couple of episodes of the first season was in no way any faster than what we saw in S02E01, it was arguably even slower, and I honestly don't know how anyone can take what we've seen from Farrell's or McAdams' characters thus far and not say they were interesting, I'd say they've come across as much more colourful than Marty or Rust appeared in the first episode.

It was a good intro for the new characters anyway and it looks like things will really kick start next week, I'm looking forward to it.

Have any one watch Eye In The Sky Chinese police drama? Is both Cantonese and Mandarian with Kevin Cheng.

I will be watching this tonight. Cant wait. I loved the first series but you are right it was a slow burner those first couple of episodes.

I can understand peoples attachment to the original characters though. But there was nothing left to tell for them after that finale anyway.

Just finished watching. Agree the characters are interesting. The cast feels really large this time, I think that put people off as you were learning about these people and their story's and back stories in a really disjointed style (which I liked) and tying it all up with old mates murder.

Leaves a lot of scope for everyone's stories to overlap and relate back to the opening episodes.

I got 10 minutes into Sense8 and just lost interest. Seems so pandering to scenekids that it isn't funny. I want to like it. I thought I'd like it. Ugh, I guess I'll give it another try. Here's hoping it's more Matrix, less Matrix sequel.

Slowly making my way through season 2 of Silicon Valley. Just watched ep4 tonight. Best ep so far just brilliant.

Also True detective [spoiler]Did they seriously just do a GOT and kill Colin Farrell off? Surely not?[/spoiler]

I'm guessing they were bean bag rounds.

Pretty obvious they're alive. There are several scenes in the trailers and other set videos that haven't happened yet.

Enjoyed this ep much more than the first. The gunman and his head gear really brought the season 1 vibe back in.

My mate put me onto a show yesterday called Mr Robot saying he was calling it early as the next breaking bad :lol: . I won't quite go that far but it was a pretty good first ep and worth checking out.

Metacritic Summary: Elliot (Rami Malek), a computer programmer who works for a cyber-security firm, is recruited by an underground hacker group run by a man known only as Mr. Robot (Christian Slater) to bring down corporations including ones his company is hired to protect.

Only one episode aired so far but already renewed for second season. The I.T stuff seemed pretty on point so if you've got an interest in networking and such you'll probably dig it

Anyone watching Wayward Pines on FX. It has been pretty good show so far.

theres a new season out for ray donovan (its a showtime show)

The showrunner's been changed after season 2, usually a good indicator to stop following a show

Its a good show to have on the shelf to watch over the summer break

The second season was nowhere near as good as the first IMO so this might not be such a bad thing.
