So last October I met this girl at a party, and we hit it off immediate with a mutual love of football. Didn't think much of that meeting until recently when I check my facebook and she sent me a message out of the blue. We've been talking a lot and had a few one-on-one meetings over coffee, up the hill, etc, and again more so after my Dad passed. For the last month or so I've been question if she likes me or is just being super nice.

So anyway I took a stab in the dark the other night and asked her over to stay the night at mine tomorrow, and she said yes a bit eagerly then looked embarrassed. So that's happening tomorrow and my excitement and nerves are through the roof.

Got well and truly outplayed last night. At my mates place for bevs and a fire with a bunch of people and I went to my brothers car with a girl to look for my iPod. She is my best mate's ex and my other best mate has had a thing with her for about a year, but that's been over for a few months but they are still kinda weird... Anyway, being a Toyota 86 there isn't much room, were both crawling around drunk as feck and we end up having a moment... She kinda smirk/smiles and we both make eye contact and look at each others lips, then I went for, and she pulled out and laughed.

Luckily being good mates we just laughed it off but she won :lol:

Okay, I don't even know where to post this, we need like a randoms thoughts/questions thread, but if you've been drinking and are making out with a sober person, and then they go and drive, if they got breathalyzed would anything register?

Alcohol gets absorbed into your blood doesn't it? Or something like that, I'm rubbish at this sorta stuff. But if the drunk person has made out with the sober person, surely the alcohol in their breath wouldn't go into their blood?

If you want to brag about making out with someone, you can just up and say it:p

Breathalyzers measure the alcohol on your breath. If you've been making out with someone drinking, then surely you'd have a little bit of the alcohol smell.

Yeah but you can't be convicted unless the blood test proves you're guilty. Breathalyser means sh*t all.

Actually, I have a question for you forumers - what counts as taking advantage of a drunk girl? That's not related to me or anything, just a question out of curiousity if the male is sober and the female is drunk, what is considered "acceptable" for the male?

For me, generally you're not taking advantage until you have to actually think about if you're taking advantage. That's the line I draw for myself, if it's even in question you're probably borderline.

That said, taking advantage is an interesting term, because what does that even mean? We all know alcohol influences decisions, but how is a guy to know if she wouldn't do it sober?

Depends on whether the girl decides when she has sobered up if she has, at which point shit can get serious for the bloke. My general rule, don't mess around with drunk chicks.

Edit to add: If she isn't interested in you sober then there isn't any point.
