So last October I met this girl at a party, and we hit it off immediate with a mutual love of football. Didn't think much of that meeting until recently when I check my facebook and she sent me a message out of the blue. We've been talking a lot and had a few one-on-one meetings over coffee, up the hill, etc, and again more so after my Dad passed. For the last month or so I've been question if she likes me or is just being super nice.
So anyway I took a stab in the dark the other night and asked her over to stay the night at mine tomorrow, and she said yes a bit eagerly then looked embarrassed. So that's happening tomorrow and my excitement and nerves are through the roof.

Well in mate, nice to see a success story in this thread  Fingers crossed she doesn't have a penis.

Well in mate, nice to see a success story in this thread  Fingers crossed she doesn't have a penis. Well most of us here are fairly used to operating one, so it wouldn't be a great technical hitch.

Well sorry you're an amazing girl and have been flirting with me for the last month and talking about how you want a guy, not like I could possibly get the wrong idea or anything.
The friend zone exists, some just apply it to their own situation incorrectly.
That's not a friend zone, that's a fuck you zone. In my experience there's a very common "I'd like to be friends" followed by cutting you off completely.

Well in mate, nice to see a success story in this thread  Fingers crossed she doesn't have a penis. I felt like sharing because this thread needs a story that includes a coffee with a happy ending, other than rubbish jokes on an internet forum.

Which is why the whole friendzone-woe-is-me trend is absolute bullshit, if you are actually friends you don't need to be in a relationship. If you expect that being friends should grant you a free pass into a relationship you aren't really a friend in the first place, you are just attempting a painfully slow wooing by deceit. Ugh. It sucks. did he seriously bitch about being rejected (aka friendzone whinge)? He was like fucking ignoring me for a whole day  Actually it was really hilarious to just be super sweet to him and sit right next to him and stuff, I think that probably pissed him off a little

Got well and truly outplayed last night. At my mates place for bevs and a fire with a bunch of people and I went to my brothers car with a girl to look for my iPod. She is my best mate's ex and my other best mate has had a thing with her for about a year, but that's been over for a few months but they are still kinda weird... Anyway, being a Toyota 86 there isn't much room, were both crawling around drunk as feck and we end up having a moment... She kinda smirk/smiles and we both make eye contact and look at each others lips, then I went for, and she pulled out and laughed.
Luckily being good mates we just laughed it off but she won

Okay, I don't even know where to post this, we need like a randoms thoughts/questions thread, but if you've been drinking and are making out with a sober person, and then they go and drive, if they got breathalyzed would anything register?

Yeah nah he wasn't worried about getting in trouble or anything like that since he didn't have anything to drink, it just would've been funny if it did happen

That's not related to me or anything, just a question out of curiousity if the male is sober and the female is drunk, what is considered "acceptable" for the male?

That's the line I draw for myself, if it's even in question you're probably borderline. That said, taking advantage is an interesting term, because what does that even mean? We all know alcohol influences decisions, but how is a guy to know if she wouldn't do it sober? My approach is just get equally drunk and then it's fair game

That's not related to me or anything, just a question out of curiousity if the male is sober and the female is drunk, what is considered "acceptable" for the male? Depends on whether the girl decides when she has sobered up if she has, at which point shit can get serious for the bloke. My general rule, don't mess around with drunk chicks. Edit to add: If she isn't interested in you sober then there isn't any point.Edited by general ashnak: 19/5/2013 03:16:50 PM The thing about football - the important thing about football - is its not just about football. - Sir Terry Pratchett in Unseen Academicals
