Last year I got the mrs a retro bicycle - she loved that. Not sure if your mrs would be into that, or if that exceeds a budget you've got in mind.

Only other idea is a (future) weekend away to some place. Turn a mini holiday into a present.

Or if she's into music, what about a vinyl player that also has CD, USB, etc? I think Kmart sells them, but you could probably get some better ones from elsewhere.

I think I may have arrived in time.

Although some of the above suggestions are great, they are very typical presents.

To really make your partner feel special on her birthday, you need to surprise her with a few things that cant be bought from shops. You need to give her the "money can't buy" experience. Hence why I have started to suggest to my clients to setup their own "day spa".

Try the following things:

Drink a copious amount of your favourite beveridge (Beer, Water, Juice etc), then ask her to join you in the shower. Whilst scrubbing her back with her favourite loofah, turn off the water and relieve yourself on her, then turn the water back on. If she doesn't notice that you turned the water off then you have succeeded in your mission.

Once she has been showered, ask her to lay down on the bed on a sheet littered with your DNA. This sheet will need to be prepared in advance. I often find that too many people waste tissues whilst pleasuring themselves so storing the sheet under the bed and start using it up to six months in advance of her birthday. This will allow for ample DNA coverage and is also good for the environment as tissues wont be wasted. Next for the massage.

I often find that traditional massages are a waste of time. So I have developed a relaxation technique called the Delhi Drop. To do this, blindfold your partner and lay her down on the sheet. Remove your clothing and squat above her. Grab your testicles and lift them up, then release them so that they drop on her. Repeat this process on the face, head and chest. She will be feeling nothing but relaxation and pleasure. Now that her day spa session is over you need to give her a gift to remind her of her special day. This will also need to be prepared in advance. See below.

Have a few spare jars laying around? Great. Keep one next to the toilet and next time you need to do a number 2, go to the Toilet and fill up one of the jars, then sprinkle a little bit of lavender oil in it. It makes for a great mud mask. Hand her the mud mask and give her a birthday kiss.

I'm pretty savy though. I ended up spending about $300 on her for Christmas because I got the necklace duty free, the perfume at a good sale time and early bird on the festival ticket.

The bracelet is $250 I think. The problem is that while she isn't a material girl at all, I just don't know what she expects and all he friends get royally spoiled by their boy friends.
