I'm equally as sure that Liverpool wouldn't have been willing to pay him 50k a week to sit on the bench.

I wonder if he's aware nobody gives a flying fuck what he thinks? - Arsenal have announced that Kieran Gibbs has signed a new long-term contract extension with the club. - Lyon chairman Jean-Michel Aulas has confirmed the club's interest in signing Juventus striker David Trezeguet and could be prepared to allow Fabio Grosso to move in the opposite direction. - Newcastle United winger Jonas Gutierrez insists he has not been contacted about a possible loan move to Porto. - Reported Hull City target Dietmar Hamann has confirmed his interest in a possible move to 1860 Munich following his release from Manchester City. - Galatasaray have confirmed the double signing of Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Leo Franco and Lyon winger Abdul Kader Keita. After the departure of Coupet, Atletico have NO keepers :?

He's quite good apparently. How he handles the pace of the EPL remains to be seen. Quote:They can have Adebayor but, excuse me if I'm wrong, Wenger doesn't re-sign players. How do you define 're-sign'? He's brought players in from old clubs in the past like Petit.

Former Valencia president Vicente Soriano has stated that the club are under no pressure to sell their stars after receiving a €500million (£432m) boost.
The Primera Division side have struggled financially of late and further players were expected to leave this summer after Raul Albiol was sold to Real Madrid.
Attackers David Villa and David Silva have both been linked with big-money moves away from Los Che, but Soriano has eased fears of an exodus.
Soriano has regained control at Valencia and revealed on Monday evening that an investment group, Inversiones Dalport SA, is willing to pay €500m for the site of the club's old Mestalla stadium.

YYYYAAAAAAYYYYYY!!!! \:d/ \:d/ \:d/ Whether Villa leave or not isnt so important. At least this will help to stabilise the clubs future...and they still have Emery, so they should still play good football.

- Felipe Melo's transfer to Juve has hit a snag as Marco Marchionni struggles to agree to terms with Fiorentina(good move for Juve. Melo was very impressive at the Confeds cup and had a good season in the Serie A) - Arsenal are said to be chasing Saint-Etienne midfielder Blaise Matuidi. The 22 year old is being monitored by Arsenal scout Gilles Grimandi(so thats were he ended up.) - Manchester Utd said to be chasing 20 year old Udinese player Alexis Sanchez. Udinese wernt willing to sell both Sanchez and D'Agostinio this summer, but with Melo joining Juve, it looks like Sanchez might be on the market. Not 100% on this. Certainly is one to watch, and has torn it up in WC Qualifiers, but ManUtd have just signed Obertan. Ive also heard a nasty rumour that 'pool might be after him too(if he goes scouse, I'll shit lead:x) (All Daily Mail)

The Alexis Sanchez rumours have been around for a while now, no doubt he is a talented player but I doubt SAF will sign him. Juve are looking good this season and Melo would be an awesome signing, they will get either him or D'Agostino imo

At least he could find out a figure, Guest.
- Juventus' bid to sign Fiorentina midfielder Felipe Melo could be in jeopardy after the Viola failed to agree terms with Marco Marchionni. - Brazil international Luis Fabiano's agent remains optimistic a deal can be agreed for the Sevilla striker to join AC Milan.
There are reports this morning that Man United are preparing a move for Zlatan Ibrahimovic. If that's the case, Berbatov is GONE.

He would cost majority of the Ronaldo fee, so don't count on it happening. That and you've just signed Obertan and Owen and they've already got Rooney and Berbatov. So if you're going to sign Ibrahimovic, Berbatov will be on the way out methinks.

No, I think if they're going to lose Ibrahimovic they'll rebuild their attack around Balotelli.
"Rafa Benitez believes Xabi Alonso and Javier Mascherano owe it to Liverpool to stay at the club. Alonso is wanted by Real Madrid, while Barcelona are keeping tabs on Mascherano." Damn fucking straight!

Damn fucking straight! How the fuck does that happen. They are professional athletes. Both developed at different clubs(in different countries) and are fully entitled to go wherever the fuck they want. Owen, Ill understand, but not Masch or Xabi. Tell us another one Rafa.
