So is everyone's tip Rudd? Any last minute dark horses? Shorten perhaps?

Not that weel informed, but what is the difference does a motion of no confidence make when there is already going to e a leadership vote? Can this force a pre-mature election?

The election will be still in September . A change of leadership doesn't change a thing. The party with a new leader usually get better polls for a while

What Labor will have to work out between the spill and the sunrise tomorrow is what can they do to sure up the independents support.

Yes. And again, inside word is that RO and TW will not back a Rudd government.

Shorten is a Gillard supporter. The party wouldn't vote for that hack anyway. It's Rudd or nothing for the Labour Party.

Anyway, looks like we're going to find out at around 4.30.

A bit late for this to be happening now? We all knew Gillard was stuffed a long time ago. But everyone sat around twiddling their thumbs saying she'll be right. But oh well.

Come on Ruddy. [-o<

Surely this is so when Gillard gets smashed at the polls Rudd can come in with the "I always supported the Prime Minister" spiel, and take control of a refreshed labor party.
