Not literally who was the opposition leader mate](*,).
He could not care less about blaming the opposition leader, he went on about his business of running the country.

Mayhaps you should make your assertions in a less contrary manner, sir? :P

You made a claim to try and make a point, it was a dumb thing to say, own your mistake and correct yourself. Ain't my fault you made yourself look like an idiot when you were making an otherwise entirely valid point.

And Beazley had a massive gut
Should've named him Spineless.

Does Gillard not have a majority? With her little band of circus animals?

Isn't a majority government all she needs????

She's got amjority IF she can persuade the Independents and Greens to support her bills. Meanwhile the Liberals lobby them to not support them.

Batfink has spent months complaining about Juliar, and he doesn't even know if she's got a minority or majority government.

It'd be exactly the same with a Liberal government. Both parties are to blame.

possibly....but the point here is you are defending Gillard and saying she is not to blame for failing to run the country properly and in your words Abbott is to blame.....

when clearly that is an absurd statement......Gillard did a deal with the independants and the greens to form Government, what was perceived by you and millions of voters to be a better option than Abbott and the independants and greens, however now it has turned to shit in a handbag you all shy away from this fact and defend her....clearly she did not capture or win the minds and hearts of the independants or greens and it has been from the start dysfunctional, disjointed and pathetic government plagued with bungle after bungle and bad decision after bad decision and band aid solutions by rectifying problems by throwing money at them.......

can't you just admit that they have been a failure???? and stop blaming the opposition for the Governments shortcomings????????

I've got mates who make homebrew. It's not a particularly complicated process. You really do have to be stupid to make such a significant fuck-up.

Why were you drinking nailpolish remover?

I can only assume that they weren't monitoring the temperature during distillation properly.

I think it's a weak argument (especially compared to the "they don't have any fucking plans, and what plans they do have are pie in the sky, ludicrous and utterly moronic", but he should have to come clear and outline exactly what views he and his party are going to take on abortion.

You're talking about a party that's becoming increasingly good at avoiding policies that people might dislike. They've had a lot of practice side-stepping the gay marriage issue and they'll continue to do the same thing on abortion.

A Government that will sidestep the hard yards, shift all the tough decisions into the future and blame everything on Juliar.

Maybe we'll get Obama to leave Tony in charge of the Korean situation, or the Middle East peace process.

Fuckin' *surprise*

We've watched them spend the last 12 months sidestepping the Abortion and Gay marriage debate - questions people actually care about their answers to. And instead bring up something like the Carbon Tax which most of Australia doesn't give a toss about (except industrialists).

When I last checked the cost of living was lower since the Carbon Tax was introduced due to rebates to low and middle income earners. :-"

You're statement actually contradicts the truth......

more like for a select few the cost of living is lower DUE to rebates.....so you are admitting the cost of living has increased.....

Fact is the cost of living is higher.....FACT forget rebates and looking after the ALP's voting demographic....rule for all Australian's not just those who vote for you.....

no data points required.....just put it to a referendum at the next election and you will get the proof.......probably why people like you don't want it to go to a referendum....;)

Lol spoken like a true elitist. The vast majority of working class Australians doesn't give two fucks about gay marriage or Abortion for that matter but they are worried about the Carbon tax costing jobs and driving up cost of living

The cost of living going up was always part of the plan.

The rebates go to 90%+ of Australians.

So much for the select few...
