Yes the interest rate was lower but it was capped so it wasn't allowed to go higher. If you think that 13% is better than the 17% under Keating then you need to explain how as it was pointed out that the real comparable interest rate was as high as 21% otherwise you're just throwing out random facts. Can you imagine if it was someone like Tony Abbott or George Bush laying out the strategy to "destroy and degrade" IS they would be condemned as war mongering redneck cowboys, but because it's Obama leading the cavalry it's all systems go. But presumably the proponents of the myth will be undaunted by that, will be unconvinced even by sworn testimony, and will clutch their dog-eared folders of photocopies and fill their blogs regardless. I'm not sure notor is the one that needs to get his head out of his arse :roll: They investigated it based on some rumours and they haven't got any credible evidence, a year isn't particularly long to be investigated either especially seeming most of it would be collecting documents and interviews.
